My Madrids finally arrived this afternoon and I must say that they are by far the most comfy Birkenstocks I have had. They fit like a glove and look simply stunning on. I don't think the usual week of panning in will be necessary for these sandals. I thoroughly recommend to anyone to buy a pair. They are so summery and I cannot wait to wear them when the weather warms up! They are exactly what I wanted - they are smart and casual at the same time - can be dressed up or down and are going to be one of my 'go to' pairs this summer. They will be ideal to take on holiday too because they are so versatile and also lightweight. Top marks for this design, I cannot rate highly enough!!!!

WOW....ordered one day, arrived the next.I ordered these to replace the ones I've had for 3 years, which I've worn so much & I've worn the out. The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, I'm generally a size 6.5 & the 39s fit perfectly. These will see me through a few more years, silver goes with everythingLove em :-)

usually a uk 7 but these in a uk 6 regular width fit fine so suggest you go one size down. this is my fourth pair of these from amazon and all of them have been very good value and very comfortable.so far i have bought white, black,mocha and silver.

These always come up slightly large (I have a 38 - 5 equivalent and am usually a 5.5). I would recommend trying some on in a shop to find your perfect size and then I am sure you will be delighted with them. Love these, the silver colour goes with pretty much everything and they are so comfortable.

Usually a UK Size 5 with wide feet - a 38 regular is a good fit. Taken a few days to break in, and made the mistake of doing them up too tightly to start with, but once you're used to them they're comfortable and supportive.
