G-Story 15.6 Inch Ultrathin Screen, FHD 1080P Portable Monitor, NS Direct-Connected/Mini HDMI/Built-in Speakers/HDR/FreeSync/Type-C/60Hz

I purchased this product to accompany my main work laptop (Thinkpad with a 14" screen), and I've used it for a little over 10 months. It still works but does not come with any bells and whistles. The version I received isn't touch-enabled either as advertised, and does not enable mobile mirroring/casting.Pros- there are a number of different port options but I use the USBC connection most frequently- matte screen that minimises glare- the price pointCons- the ports are on the right side of the screen, meaning that if the ports on your main laptop are on the left (like mine are) and if you prefer to have a second screen on your right, the length of the accompanying USBc cable (3 ft) is barely long enough to reach the port.- a couple of times now I've experienced crackling sounds coming from the screen and the screen flickering and then going dark, and when I try to reconnect it to my laptop it says "no signal". It recovers after a time but there is probably an issue with the USBc connection, which is not helped by the short length of the USBc cable so the sharp placement angle may be causing problems.- the USBc charging cable that comes with the screen is also too short (a little over 3ft)- the cover, which doubles as a stand is flimsy. It attaches magnetically to the back of the screen but does not stick securely and detaches pretty easily. Don't count on holding the cover alone - the screen will detach and fall.- if your work surface is smooth (as most work desks are!) the stand will slide backwards, meaning it is difficult for the stand to hold the screen at the desired angle unless there is something heavy behind to prevent it from sliding.- audio is a bit tinny, but I don't tend to use audio on this screen anyway- remote doesn't really work all that well- not necessarily a con, but note that the dimensions of the screen may differ from other 15.6" screens - this G-story screen appears to be longer and narrower.

Use this product as a PS5 screen while deployed. Was amazing. Plugged in HDMI, and power to PS5 USB, and it became a self sufficient screen. Very portable, very light, very strong. Sound quality is good, volume could be better, but not bad. Screen is extremely good quality, especially for price, matches quality on my 4k TV.

Overall happy with this though some trial and error was required because of the lack of user manual clarity. The lowest USB C is power ONLY. If your device can supply sufficient power and video signal use the higher USB C port. I've experienced some brightness issues when auto brightness is on. The remote buttons often trigger different actions (click down and selection goes up). Despite these minor quibbles the screen is bright enough for shaded outside use, the screen is certainly good enough for mobile productivity, and the price was right.
