They are for my homemade spice mixes for gifts; perfect size and shape! They would be even better if they came with labels, but I can get them elsewhere.

The lids do not fit well. You can just pull it off.

We ran out of cinnamon sugar a couple of weeks ago…don‘t use it too often; but ours finally ran out. Next grocery shopping day it was on my list. Could hardly believe how pricy such a simple item had increased…McCormick brand too; nothing fancy…a small bottle was over $4.00. I decided it would be more cost effective to make my own. THESE BOTTLES ARE PERFECT. They glass bottles are heavy; and the lids fit well and have a pour side and shaker side.They are heavy duty…i dropped on our tile floor and it did not break!

The jars were great at the beginning, lots of room, especially for my custom blends. But after using about once a week for a year, the lids started to break and don’t close. If you use them very infrequently, they’d be fine. But if you want these because you use the seasonings often and have them in large quantity, you might want to look at other options.

Glass is heavy. Lid provides two flaps. One side has five holes and the other side that is open.

I grow my own herbs during the summer and then hang them up to dry to use throughout the winter. I wanted a larger spice jar to put them in. These jars really fit the bill. They are square, so you can snuggle them close to each other. They were larger then I thought (taller) so I was really happy. I ended up using one of them to make vanilla extract, as it fit the vanilla bean in perfect. I also love the lids, they have lids with one side is a shaper and the other side you just flip it over. The lids screw on nicely. I was able to make labels with my label maker and they stuck on the bottle just fine. I would probably choose something with a more durable lid if I had to make the purchase again.

Combined these glass jars with 4 oz glass jars from another seller and my spice cabinet looks beautiful and well organized. Was able to get rid of all the mismatched spice bottles/jars. These came packed very well and in perfect condition. No labels but that wasn’t a problem as I had enough from the smaller bottles.

A lovely set of square jars. The extra size is much better, saves refilling so often, a bonus. They look lovely too. The plastic tops don't stay stuck down so well, so I always have a finger on the spoon side, if using the shaker side, but they are working for me. Thanks.
