Its not an Alexa device just a Bluetooth speaker can connect to Alexa with phone app
Massive disappointment. We bought this for my daughter to be able to ask Alexa to play music anywhere if she is like but turned out it's just a Bluetooth speaker that needs somebody to connect it with a phone app to do anything so it's always a lot of hassle if she wants to use it. Ended up mostly just hanging on the wall.I thought a battery-operated Alexa device is not such a space technology but it's still nowhere in the amazon market.This one is just a Bluetooth speaker. For that a good one and the battery life is amazing too. But not expect more.

If you just want a waterproof bluetooth speaker there are better but it's not the worse, if you want sometihng to work with Alexa AVOID.Before you buy be advised it doesn't connect to the Alexa app, bascially it uses it's own app called 'Hi' to interface to Alexa via your Amazon account logon?? so if you want to know the weather then the so called 'built in Alexa' is great as long as it's connected to their app on your phone, but if you want to play music via spotify, skip a track or anything else that you can do with your echo devices it's completely useless. When I saw 'Alexa certified' I wasn't expecting it via a different app to Alexa I was expecting it to work something similar to my echo, using the command 'Alexa blah blah' my mistake clearly there is a massive difference between an Alexa enabled device and an Alexa certifed device. What we need is a waterproof rechargeble echo dot.

What you need to know...Sound quality is ‘ok’ not as good as Echo products but ok for the shower.Alexa integration is odd. You have to be paired to your phone vi an app. It works, but it’s a faff.Build quality.It’s ok. Feels like it would survive a few drops in the shower. It might actually bounce if that’s your thing. Will be hard to clean when the gunk sets in. Lots of tiny holes for the speakers.Worth the money if you can get one on discount. I did. On Amazon.

Limited Alexa features, poor quality sound
Had high hopes for this due to pairing with Alexa. Unfortunately I use Spotify and this can’t control Spotify through the Alexa feature. Also sound quality is disappointing my shower speaker that I had in a lynx gift set is better quality. Battery life is good as is the build quality

Cannot get this to work with Alexa. Followed the guide and asked for support. Not heard anything in a week.
