My daughter loved this book and it introduced her to lots of new ideas. Jacqueline Wilson has also included lots of difficult words that are slightly less used now due to the 1910's setting which is great for extending vocabulary but does not make it a difficult book to read. A great read and thought provoking book.

Entertaining book
As with all of this authors books, my daughter loves it, it has more pages than the other books so should keep her entrained for a bit longer than normal. Highly recommended.
