Great book
My daughter found this book great and will read it or refer to it often. It has given her a great insight into the world of autism and understanding of her older brother who has autism.

We identify with children who don’t “fit in” - everyone does.
I didn’t read this aloud to my students as I have children with autism who prefer not to share. The book is a very welcome addition to our library where children read it quietly themselves. They tell me is is “really good.” Montessori class - ages 9 to 12.

Boring, drags on, not well written
Not the best ASD book out there. Was a little disappointed, the story was a let down. It could have been better or more interesting. My son loves to read and this story wasn’t good enough to keep him entertained. I bought it to share with my sons JK class but ended up using another book. The only thing I liked about it was the art and representation of black families. For that I give it 3 stars.
