Very Well Made - But Purported Length Dimension is Way Off!
Really, it's a very nice piece: well-finished, great heft, and excellent 'feel' in the hand with its knurled texturing. When I looked at the seller's photo in the online Amazon listing, it was clear something was amiss - i.e., the shaft diameter was stated to be 25mm (just a hair under 1" - which made perfect sense), while the total length, including the protruding 1/4"-20 threaded stud, was shown as 70mm. That's 2.75 inches, or just 2.75x the diameter.Allowing say 5mm for the 1/4"-20 stud, this would mean the "grip" portion was only 65mm high. That's just over 2.5".No way! Just look at it and one can see this is impossible. And you wouldn't want a just-2.5" long grip. Then watch the little video. The guy demonstrating the grip does NOT have a 2.5" wide hand. And neither do you. Children might, but not adults. My guess was that the grip portion was about 3.5" high.Anyway, went ahead and ordered it. It came and, sure enough, the total length / height of the entire piece is 96mm, with the grip portion being 91mm. So the grip portion is actually almost 3.6" in length.Makes much more sense - but why does the seller not correct the diagram? With the corrected understanding: highly recommended (for 1/4"-20 uses ONLY [ I tried to remove the stud, thinking perhaps one could substitute a 3/8"-16 x 1/4"-20 'adapter' - but to no avail: if that is possible, I could not do it.)

Solid metal. At 95gram it’s not light.
I actually didn’t expect it to weigh as much as it does. It’s fine, but I keep it in my pocket with a phone mount, and probably should have bought a lightweight plastic one. But I like that it’s short, and with my attached phone mount, I can get it in a jacket pocket pretty easily.

Very nice. Camcorder wrist strain is gone now.
Makes aiming/holding a camcorder a lot easier and more natural than cupping the camcorder in an unnatural position (less wrist strain). Was surprised to see another threaded hole on the bottom to either extend the grip or add another attachment side mount as seen in the image.

Awesome basic equipment.
It’s relatively heavy and nicely textured. The one inch diameter makes it the perfect size if mounted on a very low tabletop tripod. Just add a basic dumbbell weight around it (just above the tripod)—and an elevated (top heavy) light or object above the tripod is stabilized…. The only real issue is it is all metal—so your hand may get cold if you use it as a handle when outside during winter. I’ve bought many of these

nicely made
Nice and beefy. We have it screwed to a BIG AF zoom lens. It helps stabilize for pictures, but yet I guess I didn't think through that you have to NOT be holding it while you work the zoom and then you are still supporting the weight of the lens with the SLP camera body.

Nice and heavy
This is a sturdy metal grip with a substantial weight. High quality.

Would be the perfect grip, but for one flaw
I love this handle for sim many reasons: it’s black, it’s not too long, and it has a 1/4-20 receiver on the other end, so you could attach all kinds of things to the bottom of the handle. I would by ten of these but for one big problem: the screw is too short. It works, but it’s shorter than most 1/4-20 camera screws by a few threads, and this make me very nervous when attaching a $4,000 camera to it. Can you guys please make the screw longer, just by one or two threads?

Great tool for eVOLV 200!
It worked like a charm adapting my eVOLV 200 flashes to work with softboxes originally designed for rectangular head speedlites. I bought other handles that were just to tall but this one was perfect.
