It did not disappoint and it came quickly and in great shape.

Purchased for use with D&D. Size is pretty much perfect, and I just don't care that it has no base for tabletop grid maps, as I feel like a dragon is of such a size that we just fudge the numbers (on the dragon's side). I like Safari's dragons because they can each be multiple things, such as dinosaur variants (change name and a few stats and this is a mosasaurus), Chinese dragon, water monster, wyrm, etc. With this specific piece, I bought a wrecked ship set at a thrift store designed for aquariums, but matches the scale of D&D minis. The cavern under the great lake? You don't want to go down there. Safari also has Sea Dragon in miniature, which I have, like a hatchling size, and water giant and medusa/mermaid looking pieces. Each one makes for quite the sea-based adventure.I'd also like to add that the price may seem high, but the paint and plastic quality are unbeatable. Not even Schleich can compare to some of the detail these pieces; I would argue Schleich's only superiority is that some of their dragons have less conventional details and colors, which looks cool, but not enough to justify Schleich's higher prices. The paint on Safari is meticulous and clever, incorporated well into wing and fin areas that may be transparent plastic, and the great sign of attention to detail was dead-on every time -- namely, the eyes aren't all F'd up. On any mini or toy, the rest can be perfect and freakishly placed eyes just ruin it. Safari doesn't do that.

The glow-in-the-dark plastic dragon was well packed in plastic molding. The dragon himself is slightly flexible which is a nice feature as it reduces the chance of breakage greatly. This is not a young child’s toy at all.The dragon invites further painting using either glow-in-the-dark paint or neon paint. I found a 1” diameter glass ball was a perfect match for the dragon’s outstretched claw. A bit of hunter’s orange yarn works for the flames. Alien tape holds the dragon in place.If a glow in the dark dragon doesn’t bring a smile and earn a five star review … what does?

Got for my niece, she picked it out and loved it. There is nice detail and it looks pretty cool, just seems a little overpriced for what it is, it's not very big.

The toy itself was bigger than i expected, and had transparent webbing features that i hadn't realized would be there looking at the photos. One of his horns was bent at an odd angle and i can't get it to stand right, but that's a pretty complaint. The toy isn't articulated but the pose is decent enough for play or display. The details surpassed my expectations.I purchased one for a pirate game in D&D for ship-to-monster combat, and it's perfect for the task. A bit over-scaled but not to a point where it's unusable, more like a late-game enemy. It's worth noting that im using the wizkids pirates of the cursed seas miniature ships with it, so that accounts for most of my scaling problems.If your buying this for a young kid however, i couldn't recommend it enough! The toy is made of sturdy plastic that could deal with "energetic" battles with other figures, and it's small enough to easily go on trips with. The transparent features are a fun addition and are sure to excite the imaginations of young kids.

eine sehr gute Alternative zu den Schleich Produkten. Ich finde er ist genauso hochwertig verarbeitet und schön bemalt. Das er nachts leuchtet ist natürlich der Hit für die Kinder.
