I was a bit concerned these wouldn't fit my Argos Opti 25mm screw thread barbell but they slid on easy and clip snug and don't slip with the compressible rubber sleeves.They are plastic and perhaps they may not last for years but they do the job and sab m having to spend ages winding the start nuts on and off.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to for this one. Because of lockdown , we have all had to compromise with our own dumbells and barbells. One of the most annoying and tideous things for me personally were having to screw and unscrew every time I was adjusting the weights.Before buying this product I was anxious because I have a threaded bar (it screws on the end to hold the weights), but I can safely say the product does work on a threaded bar.I was annoyed because of having to unscrew and screw both sides and the screw loosening itself. I can safely say this product definitely holds the weight and grips firmly , very easy to undo. It’s not the smoothest when sliding in and out but I rather it be tighter than loose and the weights dropping. It has some black foam grip thing on the inside. I hope this product lasts and the insides don’t lose its grip. I only received them today so i can’t talk about the longevity but I can say they’re an essential purchase, very easy to use and convenient and makes life easier.

Impressed with these, they are as sturdy and do as a good a job as some I have paid a lot more for in the past. I found them very secure but easy to release.

How have I survived without a pair of these in my gym bag!They're so much better than the rubbish spring collars you find in most gyms today. I carry them in my gym bag and use them all the time. So much quicker to remove and they secure the weight on the barbell loads better than the spring collars, that can sometimes move with a few plates on the bar.They're so good that I bought my girlfriend a pair because she keeps wanting to use mine!
