Little Lucy Goes to School (Step into Reading)

The positive: this book is very readable in terms of the level of language difficulty for a child who has outgrown picture books, hence the 3 stars.The negative: it is flat, uninspired and a drag to read. The characters have names but no character. There is no humour, no mystery, no magic, no arc, nothing clever. The illustrations are dull too. Early reading should not be dull. You can find better than this.

Great book. My 6 year old loves this. We have read it a couple of times and it's still a great story. The book is sturdy and enjoyable at a low price, great buy 👍
