Good quality tea
Ahmad English No.1 tea:Good quality tea without the dust of many.A nice mild tea( reminds me of ‘Afternoon tea’) with a touch of bergamot to give a hint of earl grey. Leave it to steep for 5 minutes to get a fuller flavour.Presented in an attractive tin caddy

Makes Perfect Persian Chai Latte!
The bergamot really shines through in this loose leaf Ahmad Tea. Their tea bags have a less pronounced bergamot flavor. A little goes a long way with this tea if you are making chai with it.I was introduced to Persian chai by a previous roommate.She added Persian saffron, cinnamon, ginger, and Persian saffron rock candy to this Ahmad Tea and it is just such a stellar combination.As a standalone tea, it tends to be less remarkable than any of the stronger Earl Grey blends. However, as the backdrop of a well-spiced Persian chai latte, it is just perfect.

The best tea I've ever tasted. It never tastes bitter and and has a wonderful aroma.

Not as fresh as tea bags?!
Loose leaf bloomed with less aroma AND less flavor than the teabags shockingly. So very disappointing. More twigs floating when brewed. Have recalibrated dosing, temperature and brew time to no avail. Unsure if lower quality related to staleness or lower quality leaves.
