I had doubts about the jacket's fit but it looks really good on him. I measured him and got the next size up. The only adjustment I made was to the back, I rolled up the pants because his feet kept getting caught in them. I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit a sweater underneath the jacket but I think he'll be ok for 3-5 minutes in 30 degree weather. He doesn't particularly like the outdoors, he's a lapdog for sure.

Bought this coat for my 10lb mini dachshund just as it was getting cold in Chicago. It’s a little thinner than I expected but that’s okay because it’s just loose enough on her that I can put a thin sweater under it. It was a challenge to get the right size. I ended up ordering three of these coats in various sizes because dachshund measurements are not the standard for most pet items. For reference my dog’s measurements are 9.5in neck x 15.5in chest x 16.5in length. Based on the item description I originally ordered an XL (bc the length was the closest to my dog and I’d just put a thick sweater under it) and a L. But those both ended up being to long for her. So I ordered the medium and even though on the page it says for length of 12in, because she’s so short and the coat legs are longer it fits her perfectly.

Looks as pictured, very soft and plush inside the dog suit, not stiff at all. Sizing was accurate. I like that both the hood and pants are detachable.My little dog stayed warm while outdoors.

Thin material, not sure if it will be warm enough. I'll have to make sure doggie wears heavy sweater underneath for warmth...maybe.

Pros: Definitely does the job of keeping your dog warm. Went on several winter walks in the snow for over 30 minutes and he didn't beg to be picked up once when usually that is the case. The detachable pants & hood are a plus!Cons(why it got 4 instead of 5 stars): sizing is off. I got him a medium when he's usually a small(12lb dog with long limbs) I sized up like reviews said so it fit but still a little snug on the last button. Also the zipper is finicky, had to reattach pants a few times.Overall worth the money you pay for it the inside is super soft, it keeps your dog dry & it washes well just make sure to air dry it! Would recommend!

I had been searching for something like this for my 8lb havanese. I bought a size medium and it fits perfectly. I was a little hesitant on how the quality would be because it was fairly inexpensive, but it's pretty decent! I love that the snow pants are detachable - super convenient! The only downside is that the snow pants are not really filled so they are much thinner than the coat. They are Sherpa lined, but not filled, think more like a lined windbreaker. I still like them because they block the wind and helps to reduce snowballs on the fur. I would buy these again, despite that, because of their price, ease of use, and practicality. Would Love more color or pattern options!

I ordered a size large for my chihuahua. She weighs 12 pounds. Her chest is 17 inches and her length is 14 and it is a perfect fit. When I bring her in from outside her fur underneath is warm. At first she didn’t like walking in it but she seems over it now. I took the hood off because she doesn’t like hoods. The only thing I don’t like is there is no opening for a harness hook. It says there is but there isn’t. You have to hook it from the top of the neck and then the harness rises up which doesn’t look very comfortable. That’s why I did not give it five stars.

We've noted that our dog retains a healthy level of core body warmth where the coat covers her after walking her in low 20° weather in northern Virginia. We put tall doggie booties on her feet that help her endure the frost, rain and snowy conditions we've encountered during our winter so far. We feel rear the legs of the garment could be styled to cover the entire rear leg area like the front sleeves do, and that the stomach area would also benefit from more fabric too. Also as our dog isn't so tall, we rolled up the cuffs and stitched them in place so they didn't get soiled from her meandering about the earthy planters around the neighborhood. The hood would also benefit from being sized specifically for dogs rather than being adapted from small child garments, but we're working on cinching it closed about her head and throat better with a closure from the fabric store. A good value for the money as all dogs are different and we're grateful to've found this fleece lined model for our beloved pet
