Moves a TON of air!
I was somewhat skeptical about buying this after reading some of the reviews. But I’m glad I purchased it. Some reviewers mentioned the ground wire wasn’t connected, so I checked that first. Mine was connected but loose. I tightened that and noticed some of the other fasteners were also loose. I made sure to check every one and tightened all of them. One reviewer checked the CFM’s and said it wasn’t putting out anywhere near the listed 4700 CFM’s. Well, I didn’t check mine with a meter, but this thing moves A LOT OF AIR. Way more than a cheap box fan. I wouldn’t say it’s quiet, but isn’t as loud as I would have thought either. The sound level isn’t an issue for me - isn’t distracting at all. I paired it with a variable speed controller which allows me to vary the speed as needed based on my exhaust needs. So far very happy with my purchase.

They do not last
Bought 3 of the fans. All 3 have stopped working in less than a year. I contacted customer service about warranty and they never responded. Would not purchase this product

Not well made
This fan does not pull 4700 cfm. The backdraft damper is cheap and does not close when it is turned off. The fan does not come with instructions or information on wiring.

Definitely not explosion proof
The claim that this is sealed and explosion proof is false advertising. There was a gap in the grummet around the power cord and if you take the cord cap off you can see the windings of the motor. I certainly would not even consider this fan dust resistant. The fan does move a lot of air if there is no back pressure. It really slows down if there is. One other reviewer mentioned the ground wire was not connected to anything. In my case it was properly connected to the motor frame. My low rating is mostly my irritation of sellers making claims about the product that flat out are not true

Junk right out of the box, no reply
The fan I ordered was hooked up and ran 45 seconds, and wouldn't run again till it cooled off and hour later. Seller will not contact me to replace this item.

Ground Wire NOT connected
I wanted to upgrade the size of the wire and found when I opened the back of the motor the ground was not connected. I'm writing this review so others can beware of this condition.

Miss leading informationThe watt is only aroud 324w!And the CFM is only around an avrage of 2300CFM!
