Perfect for a pontoon
I read all the reviews on how these get damaged during loading. I was skeptical, but tried one set for the back to help guide my 20' pontoon on the trailer. It helps tremendously when you are in a cross wind or by yourself. If you mount them 2-3" away from your toons like the directions say, you shouldn't have a problem with them. After i used the boat the first time, I went back and installed a second set closer to the front of the trailer just for extra guides to insure you can load quickly and efficiently on your first try. I would definitely recommend.

These made it easier to load my pontoon on to a bunk trailer
So far so good would buy again

Purchased for a friend.
Works great, as long as you take it easy.A 24 foot boat can ruin your day unless you are careful.

Good
Easy to install, as described. Kit includes 9 washers but only 7 bolts. Wish 8 bolts would be included in the kit. I have bought two kits and both kits came with 9 washers and only 7 bolts-trailer install requires 8 washers and 8 bolts.

Worry free landing your pontoon!!
These have made loading our tritoon a breeze! We have had this for a year and highly recommend! Doesn’t matter if it is windy, on the lake or river, always a perfect landing on the trailer! So happy with this purchase!

Did what they are supposed to do.
Works fine for it's intended to do. There was a person that gave it a one star and said it bent/broke. I think it was installed wrong for that to happen. These are supposed to sit a couple of inches away from where the toon rides not snug up against it. Before I installed one set of these my toons would cock at an angle when pulling out of the water. These just bump the toons back close enough to where they line up close enough to fall into the runners.I'm debating on a second set of these or some straight ones. These really get in the way if you want to be under the pontoon to run wiring or whatever. The straight ones are 25" which will be too tall attached to cross member, but will clear if installed on a lower cross member that has an angle down before it levels.

Make loading the boat easy.
I have a 24 ft. tri-toon. The bunks make like easy for loading the boat. As long as you ease the boat on the trailer, you will be good. if You hit the trailer hard, you will bend the bunks.

Bent on first use.
Not worth the money, I noticed the brackets bent when I first installed them using a 3/8 inch Makita cordless drill (non impact). I decided to continue the installation and hope for the best. First trip out the lake we had a 14mph cross wind, when the 20 foot toon made contact with the guide on it bent it severely. So much so that it broke the guide lose from the bracket attaching it to the cross member of the trailer. When I pulled the trailer out of the water it drug bending it even worse. Not worth the money, appears to be made from REALLY flimsy material. Would not recommend.

Works as stated
This works as stated with our 26 foot pontoon boat. However, I depended on it to much (my fault NOT Gudie-on) and ended up bending the bracket and denting the boat. I had the Guide-on repaired and re-installed. I also installed flexible foam guides to extend the height of the guides above the water line so we can see them under the boat and center the boat over the guides before we pull it / drive it onto the bunk trailer. Once the boat is centred over the guides they do a fantastic job centering the boat over the bunks. These are great, but remember these are just a tool to help you, you still need to be attentive in centering the boat over the brackets/trailer bunks. I think the units with vertical rollers wood perform even better.

Would not buy this. Look for an actually rail that goes the length of the trailer.
This do not work. They are to weak to guide the pontoon. One of the snapped right off. The material is too weak for this purpose. Material quality does not support the purpose of the job.

Guide -on bunks solve part of the problem
Guide-ons are of some help, but do not totally solve the loading problem. Will probably require something else mounted further forward on trailer
