The old rubber insert had stiffened to the point of a trickle being the only flow. The new one flowed GREAT, BUT, the new cam was too small actually shut off the water flow ( about .020" smaller than the oem one, poor molding quality control, yes really). I used the original cam with the new rubber insert, housing and gasket. The flow is much better and it is able to shut off.

I went through two of these for my shower that leaked out of the box (not this brand). This one doesn't leak, but as mentioned earlier I think its not meant for a shower as it restricts the flow of water more.What I did to fix it was I used the inner plastic piece that goes inside the rubber from the old faucet and greased it good. It worked better then!

Worked for what i needed.

My shower was weak, made a terrible noise, and leaked out the spout when in use. This kit restored it to brand new functionality. I was pretty happy.

It was good to get just the wear item parts necessary.

It was the solution to my situation. I have an old Bradley single handle faucet that started to drip from the spout. The local hardware stores (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) couldn't even tell me where to get parts. Another (Amre) never heard of it, but did find one they could get as a special order for over $88! I searched and found it on Amazon for far less. After reviewing a couple of how-to videos, was able to make the fix.
