I like that the pieces go in the dishwasher (top rack) so it gets out cleaner than handwashed with all those little cavities that are waiting to trap food inside. It works very well, it’s very easy and efficient. Haven’t tried the sausage filler yet but I plan on using it in the future.

REally good for the value considering the price of most Kitchenaid attachments. I was already familiar with the meat grinder attachment, so I know this works really good at grinding meat. The sausage stuffer works, but if you are doing a whole lot of sausage, I would suggest a manual stuffer because it will be much faster. The vegetable slicer is ok, but not the best for softer vegetables. I ran a bunch of tomatoes through the course die on the meat grinder, and had instant tomato sauce! Worked perfectly. I also shredded 26 cups of zucchini to freeze, and it worked flawlessly for that. Overall, I am impressed, and can't wait to make some small scale specialty sausages soon!

I purchased my unit several months ago and I have to say that I could not be more please with a kitchen purchase that is so useful. I am a retired man and want to learn how to bake bread and other things for my family. I have made so many things now that I never thought that I would be able to, I might add that my family is very pleased with what I have been serving them and they are very happy that I have taken up baking as a useful hobby. If you want to be able to cook like a pro, you have to have the right tools for the job and a KitchenAid mixer is a great addition to any kitchen.

The grating product is amazing. I use it frequently for veggies and cheese and it makes light work.

This attachment made my life so much easy; I do not feel lazy anymore about grating carrots which I hated before. Definitely worth the money.
