Very Well Made, Heavy Duty, Very Nice Looking, Reasonable Price, but frazzles badly
The best part of these suspenders are the clips. The clips are made very well, very strong, and stay clipped onto your pants whether dress pants or genes and don't come off like most other suspenders do. They clip tight to your pants and stay there. The only complaint I have with these suspenders is the stretch material that makes up the suspender bands. The stretch bands of the suspenders becomes frazzled after a while and you have to cut the frazzles off with scissors to make them look nice again. I imagine you can cut the frazzles off only a limited number of times before the webbing on the suspenders falls apart but I don't know. I have had to cut the frazzles off a total of three times so far and they are still holding together but are still frazzling not only on the edges but all over the stretch bands of the suspenders. The leather stay on the back of the suspenders is well made. These are good suspenders except for the darn frazzling of the material. I have purchased three pair of these suspenders and each pair frazzles badly. They need to change the type of stretch material these are made of.

Comfort and Security
Firstly, let me preface this review with the disclosure that I am a man of a certain age -- and girth -- who is able to take advantage of the comfort and security of suspenders, or "braces" without irony.Over the years I have experimented with a variety of support systems, necessitated by the downward pressure of my belly on my trousers and the gravitational forces exerted by fat wallets, phones, keys, loose change, pocket knives, and whatever else I can stuff into my pants pockets. (As a side note, wearing a generously-pocketed vest affords an alternative to this overstuffing.) For a brief while I was enamored of notched belts which allow for minor adjustments to variable swellings before and after meals. However, it wasn't until I discovered the beauty of the multiple points of support without the compression of a belt which is afforded by braces that I found my sweet spot. I first tried four-point styles that allowed some sense of security lest I "drop trou" at a most inopportune moment. Before long I discovered that I preferred one rear strap in the middle versus two on the sides that tended to dig into my back and the leather chair or couch behind me. This being the case it mattered even more that the three clamps -- no one uses buttons anymore -- hold firmly. These clamps are wider and stronger than any others I've tried, thus ensuring no sudden loss of grip and sudden snap back likely to put out a tooth, or worse, an eye. Finally, while no one would ever accuse me of being a fashion plate, Decalen braces come in a variety of colors and color combinations to afford the discriminating man some choice. My only complaint is that the slightly loose weave is prone to snagging. Recommend, 4.5 stars.

They work
These suspenders are about the greatest pair I ever bought. I work in road construction and I have to climb in and out of equipment a lot. Most other suspenders have a tendency to unclip when they get caught on seats, seat belts, and etc.... these have always stayed in place. As a large guy, they work much better than belts that cut of circulation along with the material they are constructed of has held up to the work environment so far.

At work yesterday, I didn’t have to pull my pants up even once.
My job is very physical. I’m on my feet all day. Often, I have to reach up high, or bend my knees. The work is fun, but keeping my pants up was a challenge. So, after thinking over the problem for a while, I decided to try suspenders. I haven’t worn suspenders for many years. So, I had to take a while to learn how to wear them. Luckily I chose to order a heavy duty model with wide straps and strong clips. The first time I worked in my new braces, I was pleasantly impressed. No more stopping for belt tightening. Since then, I’ve gotten better and adjusting them for all contingencies. This purchase really worked out well for me.

Best Suspenders I've Used
I'm a daily suspender user and always had problems finding ones that stayed attached. The "very strong clips" used to describe this product is accurate. I use to need to attach other suspenders I owned over the belt loops in order to try and make them stay attached. These suspenders stay attached without such an approach. I now own at least a half dozen of these suspenders and would definitely recommend them to others. The last thing I'd say is that I wear them to work in (farming) and you'll have to judge how fashionable they are since my wife says I'm not qualified.

product quality
The first pair of these suspenders I bought were very good. They lasted a ong time, so when the finally stretched too far, I bought another pair. The second pair lasted only 3 months before the adjustment clamp came apart, so I to the original stretched old pair and wore those until I decided to give the another try because I was preparing for a trip.I switched to the new pair a week ago. That's as long as they lasted before the same adjustment clamp came apart just like the other pair, except , now, I am 1200 miles form home with no way to switch to the old reliable pair of suspender, stretched out as they are.Long story short, I will NEVER buy this product or any product from this company again!

Excellent for the elderly
These are great. We got these for my father who has dexterity issues and he loves them. The larger clasps are easier for him to operate and stay put. They are very durable

Exactly what I ordered.
I wear suspenders to work every day, mostly bright neon colors. I match my socks and suspenders, and now, my Covid masks. I needed a neon green set of suspenders, and these fit the bill perfectly. They're a little wider than my usual 'dress' suspenders, but not as wide as the kind contractors wear. The color is exactly as shown, and the texture is different than any I've seen. before...it's kind of a 'waffle' stretchy material which is thicker than most, but not unattractive. They feel quite a bit better made than the usual Amazon $10 suspenders, and I suspect they'll hold up well. I'd definitely buy more.

Wish I had switched to braces years ago!
I have started using these braces with my hiking trousers as they normally end up slipping down when I'm going up hills and such. They work brilliantly.I will add a slight caveat in that these braces have a flat grip rather than a toothed grip like some other braces. This is good for lightweight technical fabrics like hiking trousers as I'm not worried about it tearing, but also the flat grip can struggle to actually grip. I used these with a pair of Fjällräven trousers in G1000 fabric and it just slid right off. Fortunately my trousers have reinforcements built in specifically for this so they worked just fine, but this won't be the norm. If your trousers are made of quite a smooth dense fabric then you may find this problem.Besides this, these braces were very comfy and easy enough to adjust and their elasticity is perfect for hiking or any kind of active use. Recommended!

Keep your trousers up
Anyone who needs to wear heavy work trousers like I do, I’m a lorry driver, but are sick of constantly pulling them up, and belts don’t really work due to the weight, these are a boon! Feel very comfortable, don’t cut in on the shoulders, and most importantly they keep up your trousers, so no indecent exposure issues! Well made and come in a variety of colours, I actually have two sets in orange and black, orange as my work gear is all hi vis orange, and they blend in lovely.

Look great perform TERRIBLE
On first impression these look fantastic and well built. The clasp looks really beefy and strong. Unfortunately they are complete garbage though and unless you wear them really slack your going to drop your trousers when you bend over. Literally.

Excellent
Having tried a few different brands of braces/ suspenders now I can happily say that the Decalen ones are my favourites. Easily the highest quality. They are the most comfortable and feel the best for the job. The only downside is the American eagle on the clips. I would prefer just plain ones. Not enough to put me off them but just detracts from an otherwise excellent product for me. I would buy more though.
