C.S. Osborne S-Curved Needle

Gorilla duck tape this to the back of your camping knife sheath. Use from everything from splinter removal, canopy repair, leather sewing, whatever. (Get the black tar bowline to wrap around your knife scabbard plus a fero rod to complete the survival itch/kit). The curve in the needle facilitates easy sewing without a thimble (*to protect your thumb) and the curve design allows you to use your grip strength while installing the stitching. A must have for any serious outdoor person.

So far I’ve use it for mending. Works great. No need for a thimble.

Worked great on heavy canvas and leather. Hard to hold on to at first with big hands but you get the hang of it fast.

They said.... In the listing, the needle is BLACK stainless steel, or blackened stainless steel. I was looking forward to that. No, the needle is clean bare stainless steel. The envelope, the needle came in, is black. So, there's that. I pushed this need with ease through about four layers of cotton canvas, to see down the adjustable headband, for my hat. I did this in two times in three different areas. If functioned like a dream. No troubles. Now I do highly recommend this product and this company. I really would have preferred the black needle though. So I'm taking off a star.
