Excellent Warm Light & Great Value I’m very happy with the Sunco BR30 LED recessed light bulbs. The 3000K warm white is perfect—soft, welcoming, and not harsh—making my kitchen and bedrooms feel comfortable and inviting. The light output is strong at 850 lumens, easily replacing the old 65W incandescent bulbs, but using far less energy. I do like these lights, I have no major complaints. Except for when it comes to using this light in vaulted ceilings. I have one of those extenders to help me change the lightbulb in my vaulted living room. The finish on these bulbs is different that a normal bulb though that the suction doesn’t work on it. In this picture, the top is the Sunco brand, bottom is Sylvania. The bottom sticks to the suction wonderfully, but the Sunco sticks for just a second and then falls off. It’s just the material that it’s made of, like a frosted plastic? It doesn’t really look different when in use but a bit frustrating.

I’ve bought Sunoco lighting products in the past and all have been trouble free. These par 30 leds in 4000k color temp for me is just right. Not too blue and not too yellow. Perfect for the kitchen and baths. Steady light even when the light fixture has movement. We’ve got tall ceilings and track lighting and these bulbs throw out some really nice and evenly spread out light. They stay cool and save energy let’s just see how long they’ll last..

This is the second time purchasing the Sunco 6 Pack BR30 LED Bulbs! My first set was purchased over a year ago for my kitchen (lots of use/cycles) and all six are still working strong! I have other flood lights in my house that are incandescent and these will replace those! There are several things I really like about these bulbs: 1) The color temp and brightness is very close to that of the older, existing, incandescent lights. Overall, these provide very pleasant lighting in both my kitchen and downstairs areas as they are very close to the color/brightness of incandescent. 2) A year after having these in my kitchen, all six are still going strong with no flickering, intermittent operation or failures! This is the way LEDs should be!!! I have been very happy with the overall value (cost vs performance) and would recommend to others!

My home office has 7 can lights in the ceiling, which were just about right when populated with 75W incandescent lamps (we're talking 24 years ago). Since then, available incandescent lamps have gotten progressively lower in wattage and in light output, but the LED BR30 lamps were even worse until recently. When I saw these were rated at 850 lumens, I had to give them a try. Wow, what a difference! I immediately bought more, because our kitchen is lit with can lights also. I have a light meter, so I anchored the sensor about 4' below one of the office lamps and took readings with just the one lamp: 65W BR30 incandescent, rated at 710 lumens: 160 lux* This 11W LED replacement, rated 850 lumens: 230 lux*, a 44% increase. In the kitchen (which also has 7 lamps), I positioned the sensor midway between two lamps on the island, and measured before and after with all the lamps lit: 65W incandescent: 215 lux* 11W LED: 371 lux*, an astonishing 72.5% jump. As I explain below*, reading directly in front of the bulb isn't the whole story. That's why I placed the sensor off-center midway between two bulbs in the kitchen. These LED bulbs clearly have equal or better dispersion to the incandescent bulbs, because the off-center improvement was even higher than the on-center one. These are really great bulbs. Their dimmability is only fair: they flicker noticeably below about 25% with my old-school TRIAC dimmers (FET dimmers may work better). They need to be turned up past 50% and then reduced, which to me is no big deal. The light color stays the same at low levels, unlike an incandescent filament that glows orange at low levels. None of these affected my rating because I didn't buy these to dim them. There are more sophisticated LED lamps with wider dimming range and color change to match incandescent bulbs; these aren't that. The lumens per watt rating (77) isn't exactly stellar, but it's very good for warm color-temperature LEDs. And a 72% brighter kitchen on less than 1/5th the power is enough for me to give these full marks for efficiency also. [* - Lumens is the total output of the light source, while lux is light per unit area. A spotlight will read higher lux directly in front of it than a floodlight of the same lumens rating because the light is concentrated in a smaller area. If the LEDs had poor dispersion, the kitchen's reading differences would have been less than in the office.]

Really nice white dimmable lights for my darkish living room, super happy with these bulbs!

Came quick and everything and color 2700k is nice warm not hospital white. Bought these instead of the amazon basics. We bought those and like a clock after 2 years, one after the other burnt out, so hopefully they last it's BS that these things burn out quicker than a regular bulb, all a scam. Junk society... Will change review if they start burning out, but for now its good.
