Great introduction to watch collecting
I appreciate how Jomashop shipped my watch fast, safely and it also came in the brand new Hamilton box. So far, the watch is awesome and works great. As advertised and for the price I got it for, I could not pass on my dream watch. I have smaller wrists even for a man, so a quick trip to a shop to get it resized will most likely be something you have to do. Overall great experience and will easily use Jomashop from now on!

Improved duplicate of old Pulsar
I owned an original Pulsar which I gave to a family member after wearing it for several years. I have missed that Pulsar. Then I saw the Hamilton PSR, and once I saw it couldn't forget about it and eventually decided to purchase one. While I wouldn't have spent as much as it costs without the prior wearing and appreciation of the Pulsar, there are several very substantial improvements in the PSR over the original Pulsar. The PSR (unlike the Pulsar) has an inexpensive multi-year battery (unlike the Pulsar's few weeks battery life), the PSR is easily visible in either darkness or extreme outside brightness (which made the original Pulsar completely unreadable), the PSR is water resistant to one hundred feet (unlike the Pulsar which needed to be taken off before doing ANYTHING in the vicinity of water), and the crystal of the PSR is sapphire (noticeably tougher than the original glass crystal). Moreover, it is so accurate that so far as I can tell it hasn't gained or lost even one second since I first set it. Is the PSR perfect? No, it is still a pushbutton ultra-simple digital watch with no options except displaying the time, but it has the qualities I just described, and it also has the beauty of the original Pulsar. If you are willing to put up with the need to press the side button to see the time in the dark (no need in bright light) and you appreciate the beauty of the design, you may love this watch. I do, and I won't give this one away, even to family!

Looks are great
I bought this watch because of the original pulsar being a James Bond watch. This Hamilton PSR reissue doesn't disappoint. The all over brushed case and bracelet gives a nice subdued class to this tribute to the first ever digital watch.

Hard to read statement piece
I was not around in 1970 when the original Pulsar was introduced. I did admire it when I saw the movie Live and Let Die as a child. I must have underestimated the LED craze of the 70s because the second day I wore it two strangers over the age of 60 asked me if that was a Pulsar and had to tell me their story of their LED watch. I like the retro throwback design in the age of smart watches. It has kept me mindful of how fast technology has come and how fast electronics become obsolete and disposable. The modern PSR has a new always on reflective LCD display as well as the push button OLED light that replicates the old dot LED of 1972. The reflective LCD display is harder to read than the promotional photos lead you to believe. In outdoor direct light the watch is easy to read. Indoors I find you need to angle the watch towards a light source to get a good reflection to see the display. The push button OLED is bright and easy to read. OLED will drain the battery faster. Hamilton says the battery will last 5 years but customer service wouldn't tell me under what conditions and how many button presses a day to come to a 5 year battery life. I try my best to use natural light but there are situations when you need to push the button to read the time. You also need to push the button twice to see the counting seconds. Pushing a button to read the time can be hard to adjust to coming from an analog watch. My watch was extremely discounted from Amazon. Arrived new in the original manufactures jewelry store plastic packaging and not the consumer packaging. Weird. I'm guessing thats why it was so inexpensive. I'm guessing most will arrive in a pretty box. After a few days I got use to the reflective LCD and love wearing it when I don't want to wear a mechanical. I've included a photo of my packaging and a series of 3 images showing how a slight change in angle makes reading LCD display a challenge indoors. The far Left image is the OLED on. Nice and bright.

If you want a re-issue of the very first digital watch..This is the one.
Having to push a button to see the time..? That's funny...but, you can actually see the time in certain lighting without pushing the button. No other functions on this watch other than a seconds count..So very antiquated by today's standards. It doesn't take my pulse, tell me how many steps I've taken or if I slept 8 hours and got up 3 times. I hate digital watches but this one is great retro , vintage , old school and a great conversation piece. Also knowing that many famous people took the plunge to buy a watch that was so new and futuristic and unperfected back in 1970 , just to be ahead , just to be a TRENDSETTER, is very cool indeed. This model has better components, battery life and no "Wand" to change the time as the original had. A great Heirloom purchase. I wear it rarely but when I do , it's always fun. It's so Star Trekie or Star Wars looking ....A small TV screen looking watch....that alone is worth the money. Too bad it was not a phone too. Can you even imagine that in 1970? Impossible you say? Tell that to Apple!

Yes it’s a Hamilton but it’s not worth the price tag
Honestly it’s way overpriced the armitron Griffey is pretty much the same watch for the tax on this one

A must have.
I don't understand the negative reviews on this timepiece. So much detail and perfection done by Hamilton. There is no issue with the bracelet if you ajusted right. There is some protection plastic foil inside the buckle that you need to remove so it will close better.I love this watch! 5 stars.

Great Classic!
Great new version of the Classic LED Pulsar watch. Always-on OLED is good, albeit quite weak. Push the button and LED is great with two different levels of light depending on ambient light. Attention to detail and finish is second to none. The only thing I miss is a date display.

Arrived on time
Arrived promptly so no complaints about that and the watch was boxed and packaged nicely. There is a warranty card filled in properly from what I can tell and everything looks ok so far. However as a word of warning you will probably have to adjust the bracelet as there are no sizing options available on here and that is a right pain. I have a watch toolkit and have emailed Hamilton support with not much help. Not as easy as you might think. Also on the actual watch front, the display when not illuminated by pressing the button is poor. Basically can’t see it in any light unless you are lucky. Great iconic watch though but just do your research so you know what you are getting in advance.

Orologio arrivato graffiato, probabilmente usato o tenuto in esposizione
L'orologio è arrivato con piccolo graffio sulla cassa. Il foglietto delle istruzioni molto consunto e sull'orologio mancavano del tutto le pellicole protettive che ci devono essere.
