I have tried it all and this is it!
I like to try everything and I have. This is the best line for your buck. Super thin yet strong. Almost all of these super lines are much stronger then they are rated for. This 8 pound is a good all around line for many situations. Lots of people use the 16 or 18 pound just for peace of mind because it is still much thinner then traditional line. I like to go as light as I can and I find the 8 pound a good all around test for myself! They have a four pound that is just crazy thin and light which I use often too. The only real drawback is that for people whose eyes are not the best May have trouble seeing it which can be a real pain. Keep this in mind if purchasing for someone.

For plastic worms and looking for bass this line is strong, easy to work with as long as you have a good line cutter (nail clipper type cutters usually fray this line, I use Boomerang cutters) and the line floats enough to show you when there is a bite. Very very nice. Using it for the second season.

Use a special knot to tie this line to leader.
It is a very good line that requires some special techniques to connect to a fluorocarbon leader. Use the Albright knot with lock. Special knot books show how to tie this knot much better than the booklet provided with this line. Eight pound Power Pro has the diameter of one pound mono, so use appropriate monofilament backing and leaders and specialized knots.

the 8lb test with braided will bring darn near any fish in.
