Gardein Chicken Strips, 10 Pound -- 1 each.

The 10 lb bag is not the same product that is in the smaller bags that are called the same thing. I would stick with the smaller bags. The 10 lb bag strips are rubbery and "squeaky." The ones in the smaller bag seam to be "fluffier" and absorb a marinade or herbs and spices better. Also, the strips in the smaller bag are a different thickness. The 10 lb strips are very very thin.

These are our favorite of all the Gardein products. I fry them up like fried chicken with mashed yukons on the side, or in a soup with noodles, or in a veggie stir fry, and in an Oriental chick'n salad. I usually add garlic granules, Lawry's salt, pepper, and granulated onions as spices like I used to make fried chicken when we were omnivores over 30 years ago.

This is our go-to "chicken". We make soup, we grill, we pan fry, we bake with these. I served a huge batch of "chicken" noodle soup to my in-laws and none of them knew it was fake chicken until my partner pointed it out. They are incredibly mushy when raw and thawed, but they toughen up and become very meat-like when completely cooked.
