A gorgeous collection of pictures of a gorgeous woman. If you grew up watching her on late night cable in the 1990's like I did, you'll love this book!

If you are familiar with previous Julie Strain photo collections published by Heavy Metal such as  Its Only Art If Its Well Hung!  and  Six Foot One and Worth the Climb , you'll be pleased to know that this book is of similar content and quality. It is cover-to-cover with big, glossy pages jammed full of photos.The book starts with a typical Julie-penned introduction adorned with images of every domestic and foreign cover of Penthouse she's ever graced. After that, it's a survey of images from (surely) every photoshoot she ever did for Penthouse. The presentation varies from 2-10 thumbnail images to full-page, or even two-page spreads in crystal clarity (with Bob Guccione's trademark soft-focus, of course).The images run the gamut from clothed glamour shots to the explicit nudity Penthouse is famous for. Nothing is censored, and the book provides a very nice cross-section of the wide range of styles and settings found in the various shoots.As the back cover states, there are over seven-hundred photos in here. For Julie fans, it's a no-brainer.

I don't care if she's married to Kevin Eastman (co-creator of the Ninja Turtles), Julie is one stack of Damn! Wow!, and Sexy! I would have loved to see her be Wonder Woman - she's statuesque (6 feet tall!), got muscles in all the right places, and she looks like she could kick Superman and Batman's tails (if you've seen her action films)! This collection, along with her other photo collections showcases a beautiful woman who lets no obstacle stop her goals. A wonderful package!

Julie is beautiful, the Photogaphy is beautiful, but...The page layout is not not as good as it could have been.Rather than keeping all the images related by photo shoot,the photographs are clustered in alternating pages.Quality reproduction on quality paper. Nicely bound.

Great collection of Julie Strain's appearances in Penthouse - which more than justifies her reputation as an icon. Plus her 6ft stature does play a significant part in that. My one quibble is that there's nothing from the Penthouse videos - is this being saved for Volume 2?
