I purchased this for my 12 year old for Yule because they want to learn to play drums. I wanted to find something that matched their personality and I was surprised that such a pretty practice pad was available. It is well made, has a good weight and I believe it will hold up for a while. The bottom side has a nice bit of foam-like grip/padding. The feel when hitting the pad with sticks is closer to a real drum feel than a set of electronic drums would be, which is why I chose this approach. I plan to get my child the 6” and 8” in this print. The graphics are vibrant and printed well. If you or someone in your life wants a practice pad that has a bit of character, this will not disappoint. I selected a used like new option to save some money because finances are tight in our household right now. It was exactly as described and other than the packaging being a little worn and beaten up from storage and travel, I wouldn’t have thought it was used or returned. My 12 year old certainly couldn’t tell. I’m so happy that I went with this one. I believe that others will be too.

I’m just beginning so I wouldn’t know if it is working like a good item. The galaxy design is beautiful. It does have a good “bounce”.

Good for drum line, a little loud, less bounce than the Evans version.
