Lucky Champ Litter Pan, Large, Grey

Purchased two of these. Great for elderly cats to negotiate their way in and out. So far there hasn’t been an issue with the used litter sticking to the bottom of the pan.

My older kitty cat was having a hard time getting in and out of her previous litterbox so I was happy to come across this one for her to try. I really like how it still has the high sides to prevent accidents. She’s able to get in and out of it pretty easily - much easier than traditional boxes. It’s easy to keep scooped and clean. It’s a winner. I like also how it’s good from babies to seniors!

This was even larger - and more stable - than I thought it might be from the descriptions. I once had kittens who needed to "boost" themselves over the high walls of the litter pan to use it. I now have seniors, with age-related arthritis, who need help getting into the pan. This works for both situations. It is well constructed, appropriately long and wide. The cats took to it right away. Lucky Champ Litter Pan, Large, has made life easier and better for all of us.

I have more luck with storage totes as litter boxes. Plus they are cheaper. More size variety to choose from as well. Labeled litter boxes by and large are not big enough for my kitties. This design is flawed in that the front lip is too low and the cats kick the litter out over that low end.It is easy to clean tho

In the 11 years I've had house rabbits, I've gone through a number of different litter boxes. I have two 8 lb bunnies, and one loves to throw her litterbox around for fun, spreading litter everywhere. She refuses to use a litterbox to do her business in, preferring to piddle right next to it, and pooping everywhere. I got two of these, one for each big bun, and they are fabulous! They are light enough that I can handle them easily, but heavy enough that even my problem bun can't pick it up and throw it around. Because they are large enough that my buns can easily fit inside along with a healthy dose of hay, they happily spend their days pooping and peeing where they are supposed to while chowing down. I've been using them for a couple months now, scrubbing and disinfecting them weekly, and so far I've seen no plastic breakdown; the material isn't becoming porous. These litter boxes are deep enough that I can add another layer of litter and hay each day, meaning I don't have to clean them daily. That I can layer the box and avoid cleaning it daily is great, but it also means that when I do empty them every 5-7 days, the bottom layer has already started "composting" for want of a better word, and the entire contents of the litterbox go straight into my compost pile. The only downside I've found is that the box is big enough that when it's full, it's a bit difficult to empty into the backyard compostable garbage bags I use. Then again, the bags are supposed to be 13 gallons, but I doubt they hold more than 10 gallons. They are also very flimsy, so whether the problem is the bag or the box is a matter of perspective. I'm VERY pleased! So far, so great!

Nice pan but my cat seems to want to pull the litter out the front and make a mess. He had surgery so the little step and low access is great for small or older cats.

Nice quality and the low entry is easy for my elder kitty to use with her limited mobility. The high sides and back keep urine contained in the box. The slick plastic surface wipes clean much mote easily than my other litter pans. Recommend!

My two 10 year old girls had a hard time getting in and out of litter boxes that had high sides, so the vet recommended we get some that are easier for older kitties to get into and these have been great so far. They're able to walk into them with ease and no longer have accidents outside the litterbox. Only downside might be that they are a bit small, so if you have a pretty big cat then that could be an issue but other than that I'd recommend them to anyone!

This product is ideal for my senior cat who tends to stand while urinating, as the sides are fairly high. I can't judge the usefulness of the low entry because my cat also tends to simply jump over the side, however I find the size and shape of the box much better suited to my cat and myself than other boxes I've tried. I especially like the rounded corners and smooth contour of the inside of the box, which make it much easier to clean. This box is also of a much sturdier design than other boxes I've tried, which tend to crack up the sides, and the handles are a nice touch that make the box much easier to lift with litter inside.

Great quality heavy duty, easy to clean, works great for a cats were CH and for senior cats. The opening is low but the litter box is a large in length, no issue with litter outside the box with my cats.

This is excellent quality, well-made and thick enough not to bend when picked up full of litter. I also like the dimensions: it's extra-long.Unfortunately, the easy-enter front allows my silly female to still end up peeing outside the box (she doesn't seem to realize that she's full-grown and should move in deeper). But that is not the fault of the manufacturer.I highly recommend this product even though it did not work in my case.
