I love these fishing rod holders, I attach them to my Gladiator when were out fishing. They stay in place, they look good, and they get the job done!

Super handy and nice to just store in the glovebox. Had a roof rod vault for years but this is great for a quick alternative.

Love this thing. I travel a lot and like to bring a rod with me and this fits right in my tackle bag no problem. Holds tight on the roughest roads and at speed on the freeway. It’s great going between holes or a quick run into town. I like to rig up in the hotel and throw it in the roof so I’m ready at the river.

The magnets could have a little stronger but it works.

I really like these rod holders. A quick way to carry my fly rod to the next run without having to break it down. I tested it out on miles of very rough dirt roads at normal speeds. Also tested it on paved roads at speeds up to 50 mph, no slippage or other issues. The bungee cords that hold the rod against the metal base are good quality and keep the rod snug, no slipping or wiggle. Very easy to use and remove. I just purchased 3 more so I can run 2 rods and have spares for my fishing buddies.

I own three of these. Makes it easy to transport 10" and 11' fully rigged fly rods to different locations on top of my SUV. Must have a steel body vehicle for the magnets to work. I use rubber coated wire ties attached to my roof rack for added security. We have traveled 45 minutes at 50 plus MPH and have had no issues. Great for short moves along the creeks I usually fish.

Magnets are strong and rod and reel fits snug. Perfect for jumping to the next hole without breaking down your rod.

Bought this as a Xmas gift for my partner. He just tried to use this on a fishing trip over the 4th of July for the first time and couldn't get it to attach to our 9 year old vehicle. Came home and it works fine on our old clunker pickup, because there is more steel in the vehicle. Re-tried SUV and found there is only enough steel in the roof for this to work, not the hood where we had tried. I guess this isn't the fault of the item, but one needs to be aware it may not work as you want it to because of the alloy in your vehicle.
