Having patronized Pelican cases for years I was very happy to see this product line. It has almost all the features one could want. It's rugged, it has metal protectors on the padlock tabs, good clasps, quality gaskets, the price is irresistible, and a pressure relief valve.That is the sticking point, the valve. It is a manual, not automatic pressure relief valve. In fact, it's not really a valve at all. It is a metal screw with a very large plastic cap at its end. One has to physically unscrew it if one feels that there is a pressure build up or vacuum. Keep unscrewing it and it falls off.It would be impossible to relieve any build up in pressure if the case was in an aircraft cargo hold. If the screw is loose the water proof integrity is gone.Will this prevent me from buying another Eylar case,? Well no. I'll just be sure to keep the screw tight.

I bought it to protect my RC transmitter. Not as well built as my Pelican or Condition1 but will serve its purpose to protect my radio. The plus was the bright colors it comes in so I can see if it is being walked off the field.
