This is a very well thought out products, very functional and easy to use.

I use this about every other day. It's very convenient, quality made, nice design and easy to clean with the included cleaning brush.

I love this little tool, grating garlic for garlic bread is so quick. No more touching the chopped garlic leaving stinky hands. It is really easy and safe for kids to use too. Fresh parmesan is my second favorite use. Only reason for the 4 star is because after 1 year use most of the plastic encasing the grating part has crumbled off, the handle is still attached though so it is still functional.

I love this thing. Really well constructed. Looks like it will last a very long time. Works exactly the way it says. I hate chopping garlic. This thing is so easy to use. Just put a few cloves in the little hole, put the plunger top in, and just run it back and forth. It makes the garlic into a perfect mash, using 100% of it. After, I just take a little silicone spatula and scrape both sides of the grate to get 100% of the garlic. This thing works great. They also give you a really good little scrubbing brush to clean the grate when you're through. I spent a little more money on this then others advertised similar products, because they looked kind of cheapy. This one looked much better constructed. And it is! It looks like it will last for years and years. I use it practically every day and I'm I'm loving it. Get one. If you hate shopping garlic, this will make your life way easier. Get one.

I was looking for a fine grater. This is more medium. But works well for its size.

Very disappointed. The construction of it is very weak. The shredding board is encased with weak brittle clear plastic. It looks like it will break very easily, so I haven’t even tried it because I’m scared it will break and then I’m stuck with it. So I’m going to return it. I usually look at reviews before I buy anything, I guess I failed to do so this time because after I received it and realized how fragile it looks I rechecked the reviews and discovered the most common complaint is the plastic breaking. It will be useless once the plastic breaks because you’ll have no way to hold the grater/shredder piece. And if that isn’t bad enough, the part that you use to press the garlic down on the shredder surface has little black bumps to help hold the garlic in place while shredding it. The problem with that is that if you press it down all the way to the shredder (like you should be able to do) then the shredder blades are going to shave off those little plastic bumps putting pieces of black plastic in your garlic or whatever food item you’re trying to grate/shred. The tool’s concept is a good one (except for those bumps), but the quality of the material used is extremely lacking. It’s truly a shame.

Upon slight improvised using a bigger container, my wife is pleased with the grater where she is able to grate lemon more effortlessly then her previous grater.

Love it. Easy to use with or without the removable bowl. Grates nutmeg perfectly. All the gratings are uniform in size and have a nice fine texture with no waste or scraped fingers.

This is a cool concept on a "microplane" style parm grater, and has some well thought out features, including the suction-attached catch cup, and the mountable "save your fingertips" hand guard for grating smaller items. For the price, you're getting a lot of function and design here.There's two main issues with this grater that prevents me from giving it a full five stars, so keep this in mind if you plan on purchasing it. First and foremost, it is not anywhere near as sharp as a Microplane branded grater I've used for zesting for years (and also doing quick shreds of a bit of parm or nuts over meals); there's a lot more resistance to cutting and shredding most common things like parmesan, other hard cheeses, nutmeg, and other items. Second, the main body of the grater is plastic, and has a lot of flex. I'm worried that eventually it will crack and break because, if you use this product as intended - the bottom of it sitting against the counter, and your hand holding it firmly at a 45 degree angle - and you grating away, a lot of torque and stress is put on the point where the grater's main body meets its handle. A metal body, or at least a metal frame would be a lot more durable.All this said, at the price I paid, it's a pretty good value. As long as it doesn't break!

I use it to grate turmeric and ginger to make a tea and this grater makes it so easy. Not messy at all and is very easy to clean. I haven’t had to use the scrub brush that came with it yet. I haven’t tried it yet with other foods but judging by how sharp it is I don’t think it will have any problems. I am very happy in all aspects of this kitchen gadget
