Excellent results for a home made Miso based ramen.
i visited Japan last year and basically couldn't get enough Ramen. The unfortunate consequence is that having returned home to Ireland I now knew well what I am missing out on when ordering ramen (even in some of the better Japanese restaurants). I decided to order this book to give it a go at home. I've only just received it and tried the miso ramen based recipes and the result is fantastic. It does drive home the fact that a good broth base is the key to a decent ramen. It also highlights the fact that each component does require preparation but the miso base can be frozen for later use. Well worth buying and tons of fun experimenting. Obviously the ingredients required are not generally run of the mill western basics, but the ability to batch and freeze prepared food makes it worthwhile buying all the required ingredients in.

a fabulous book with easy to follow recipes
everything you need to know about making Ramen including noodles, a fabulous book with easy to follow recipes. although a lot of ingredient are required stocks can be frozen so this makes having Ramen when ever you want an easy task to achieve. a must have for the Ramen lover or if you just love noodles, this book is comprehensive. don't be daunted by the ingredient list as I managed to find it all in local chinese shops and on line. buy it and enjoy traditional and new Ramen in your own home. the recipe's are delicious

I love this.......
Start at the beginning and start reading. Within 6 or so pages you'll understand the basics. The ramen base is not that complex to make and has a depth of flavour which forms the basis of the dish. Spoil yourself and get some ramen dishes, it makes even a mid week dinner special.

Ramen, ma non solo... troppo fusion
Bel libro, dedicato esclusivamente al Ramen, purtroppo si dedica molto anche alle ricette fusion e non solo a quelle tradizionali, che sarebbero già sufficienti a riempire un paio di libri, se compro un libro di cibo giapponese vorrei ci fossero ricette giapponesi. peccato, perchè è chiaro e le foto sono molto ispiranti.adatto a chi non si accontenta dei soli sapori giapponesi.
