GoDpsMusic 6 String Sawtooth ST-M24 Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose, Right Handed Satin White (ST-M24-SWH)

When first playing to check the guitar, the #6 string was tuned high. A rattle could be heard when playing some notes. Upon inspection, it appears that #6 string fine tuning screw may be stripped in the center shown as a slight lightening of perhaps metal vs the anodized appearance of the remainder of the screw. I will need to investigate when I have more time tomorrow or Wednesday.The guitar body, neck and fingerboard have a very good to excellent feel. The other strings are in tune.

I bought this as a used “Very Good” item. The price I payed for it is probably around the same as a Floyd Rose and Wilkinson tubers but there’s were so many issues with it I don’t think I would’ve bought it in a guitar shop. Out of the box, two of the clamps for the locking nut weren’t attached and were just rolling around in the packaging while the pickups were DOA since they were covered in CLUMPS OF STEEL WOOL. The screws securing the pickups and the covers for the trem and control cavities were drilled in crooked. The finish feels a bit uneven. The Floyd Rose does have a made in Germany stamp on the bottom but it wasn’t set up properly. After stringing the guitar I noticed that the string radius looked really weird and it was because some of the bridge saddles were mounted in the wrong positions. Overall it’s been frustrating but I don’t know if I should blame Sawtooth for making a guitar that feels somewhat crude, or the seller I purchased it from for selling it in the condition it was in and calling it “Very Good.” If you purchase this guitar, I would recommend inspecting it closely and then deciding whether or not to keep it. I can’t deny that it’s a great value but I wasn’t expecting to have to do this much setup and to have to buy new pickups. I hope that I just ended up with a lemon and that’s the other guitar of this model are better than this.

Frets need level,for low lower action,otherwise, great guitar.

I did this purchase...this exact guitar thru the app. I had problems getting signed into the app, but an email to them and Kevin got that fixed for me. $400 delivered came with a cable and allen wrenches. Was double box shipped and took about a week to arrive. I can attest to that it is a professional quality guitar. It weighs 7.7 lbs, bridge pickup 15.3 k, neck pickup 8.6 k. 32oz block, real floyd rose. Wilkinson tuners. The neck is amazing, so smooth, rounded edges, awsome fret work on mine. Top of the line hardware honestly and the one I recieved is great. No need for me to even dampen the springs, not sure why they don't rattle one bit, that is a first for me. I had it about a month now, play it daily. Even the strings it came with are still on it, also a first for me, I always replace them on new guitar purchases.To make purfect, i shimmed up the A and B saddles with a little aluminum foil. The pots are very stiff, a drop of wd-40 down the pot shaft fixed that. It was almost in tune and the action was a little high with the neck pickup a little low, neck needed no adjustment. The back cover plates are cut lousy, but no biggie. Easy set-up to my liking, but honestly could have been played right out of the box. Hope this helps any considering purchasing one.Currently thru 12/4/2022 they are running a 50% off sale at the godps web site, so yeah, you can get this guitar for $275 now. About the cost of just buying a real floyd rose, get an entire guitar good enough for MAB =)

I got this guitar because it was cheap, and I like Michael Angelo Batio. I wanted to see what a guitar he designed would be like.I was expecting something much cheaper in construction because of the price point. I found out that the parts are made in China, but the guitar is assembled and setup in the USA. Dingwall does the same with their basses (assembled in Canada) but charges you $2500, think about that!Sandalwood? Just what the heck is that?Let me tell you, that's my new favorite fingerboard. It reminds me of Rosewood, but I like the way Sandalwood looks much better. This is one way how Sawtooth keeps their price down, by using woods that aren't pricey. I had my doubts, but after this guitar, I'd consider using Sandalwood in a new guitar project.The neck felt really solid right out of the box. It was comparable to my American Strat in construction. I had to do a double take when I examined it because I didn't believe it. The profile is in-between a "Thin C", like a Schecter, and a C, like a Fender Strat. So you can still shred on it, and still have some wood to play chords on without feeling like theres nothing to grab on to. I think it feels great! It makes my hand stretch.The Floyd Rose is a real German Original Floyd Rose. If you don't know what this means, just get it and try it. The tuning stability is so much better than a FR Special on the Jacksons, and feels more solid than the FR1000 on the Schecters. This is super important when you're using the bar, because you want to come back up from the bends in tune. The other FRs mentioned go out of tune really bad when this happens. Even the fine tuners are better than the previous models.You can move the bar more precisely, and the resonance and tone that comes out of it sounds amazing. I'm glad MAB kept this premium part. I'm now making this a standard in my guitars.The frets themselves had no sprouting. They are medium jumbo, which is an interesting choice for a shredder, as most use Jumbo-XL, and it feels great. This goes up to 24 frets. The entire setup on my guitar was good.The pickups sound good for a humbucker in this price range. I wasnt expecting Seymour Duncan SH-4s, SH-2ns, but those are the logical upgrade. Again, you can get plenty of good tones out of the stock pickups and they feel good, just dont expect a boutique pickup.Tuners are Wilkenson tuners. If you've played a cheap Jackson, these are a night and day difference.The tone knobs aren't my first choice, but who the hell looks at those? Its a cheap easy upgrade, but I'm in no rush.The finish is satin white, its a good touch. It doesnt look cheap like a toy (calling out Jackson again), and it looks like a common guitar color you would see in the 80s.It's a solid bargain for the price. I wish I had this guitar when I was starting out. Better grab this before other people find out about i!

Got it on sale for 330 described as USED but there were no signs of use. The condition is as good as new. No dings or scratches it was perfect. Only 1 thing, it wasnt playable outside of the box. It needed a Set up, fret leveling and crowning and that was it. I know how to do it my self so it didnt cost me anything. Pickups are great, neck is really comfortable and the hardware are very good quality! Now it plays great and I love it! Best purchase ever! Great guitar!

paid 600, Not on sale, received the conditions of this guitar will definitely increase you madness for playing death metal, your anger rebuild by receiving an used one,as I paid and described in Newcondition, got an used one as brand new, but the guitar itself does sound amazing,

After buying 2 in a row hoping the second one would not have the same issue, the second guitar was actually worse than the first one, Amazon just gives a refund instead of offering a replacement and doesn’t help you get a new functional guitar, the company itself (sawtooth) is even less helpful as they just order the guitars from China and don’t have any parts on hand , I was hoping they would offer me a new body or something.Would not recommend wasting your time or money
