TOP WOOD Sitka SpruceSitka Spruce is the most well-rounded tone wood and is used on more guitar tops than any other wood. This is due to the tonal qualities and sonic projection of spruce. It has a nice even tone and does not accentuate any frequency above another in an overpowering way. Spruce also has a strong attack and does not get muddy at high volumes. This makes it a very versatile wood and makes those players with soft touches sound great and people playing with other instruments cut through the mix.BODY SHAPE Dreadnought - Cutaway Electronics 12 StringThe dreadnought body shape has been the most popular shape for decades now for a number of reasons. First, it has a nice balance between low, mid and high frequencies. Where some body shapes scoop the mid range, a dreadnought will bring the mid range up. This is important when playing with a group of instruments. The mid range of a guitar will stand out. Because of the tonal balance of a dreadnought, the sound does not get muddy and will be very articulate even when a player is a more aggressive picker.ELECTRONICS Fishman ISYS+The Fishman ISYS+ works to complement the natural acoustic tone of your Teton guitar when you need to amplify it. It's all that I expected
It is a well crafted instrument that meets and exceeds my expectations. I would recommend Titon to anyone. It was delivered on time and in good shape.

Great Guitar stacks up against many higher end 12 strings.
I purchased this guitar last week. It is a beautiful sounding instrument. It has a beautiful sweet sound and good projection. The action on mine is excellent for my taste. I was considering a used Taylor 150e for 250$ more. It was also a beautiful guitar with a little more volume and slightly different voice. Both of these are fine guitars. String spacing at the bridge on the Teton seems a hair narrower. I also played a Takamine GD30-12, Danelectro, Fender. . The Teton was the hands down winner there. Setups vary, but I am very happy with the purchase. Get out and play one in a store. I have been playing for 20 years off and on. This is my first 12 string and the favorite acoustic for now. I like the finish but would welcome more prominent (lighter) fret dots, and maybe a violin sunburst color option. I purchased mine in store so perhaps it had a better set up. My daughter also has a Cedar top 6 string Teton that is also a very nice guitar. The electronics are nice and sound much better than my mid 80s ovation. You will have to remove the strings to change the battery.

Sounds Amazing!
This 12 string has a fantastic sound! I would recommend replacing the strings on it soon after purchase but I am pretty picky about that stuff so its probably not a big deal. Overall I love this guitar and how nice it is.
