Easy install and looks great with my new license plate holder. They appear to be high quality and were the perfect length.

I will admit these self-tapping screws are of high quality and have not rusted after 1 year of use on my daily vehicle. I’ll give the product five stars since they work as intended. The problem with self-tapping screws is they cut and form their own threads. In plastic, repeated removal and reinstallation can wear or strip the formed threads. In very thin or soft material, each cycle can damage the hole a little more. Some self-tapping designs are meant more for one-time assembly, while others tolerate service better. I believe machine screws are the superior choice for license plate fastening. Many vehicles from the 1990s and before came with their own license plate bracket and used machine screws to secure the license plate in place. Machine screws offer the ability to remove the license plate many more times over self-tapping screws. This offers the ability to remove dirt which gets under the license plate over time. The threads on machine screws are uniform while self-tapping screws can use many non-standard size threads. Many holes can be fixed with a tap and die set. Remember that German vehicles usually take metric size screws over SAE. Never put self-tapping screws on a Porsche! They usually take M5 or M6 size machine screws for the license plate bracket. The screws holding the plate should never touch the bumper! I checked a few 1990s and 1980s vehicles with license plate brackets. The point of the bracket is so the screws holding the license plate do not go into the actual bumper. These self-tapping screws force themselves to go into the bumper by length, though that might be for modern vehicle standards without brackets. Pointy tip screw = intrusive. Metric flat tip screw with fine threads = timeless engineering masterpiece.

Excellent visual appeal. Slightly smaller head than I thought it would be, but definitely does the job.

Nice enough screws, but they were too wide for my 2026 Camry and my 2017 Highlander rear license plate holes.

Simple and even though may not fit all screw mounts as in one case in one of my car’s overall good to have.

These license-plate screws fit correctly and worked exactly as expected. They secured the plate properly, and the black finish blended in better than standard bright metal hardware. A simple replacement set that completed the installation without any fitment problems.

Excellent quality! Not flimsy. I will order from them again.
