Morphy Richards Equip Brushed Jug Kettle, Silver, 1.7L, 102773

I purchased this kettle as a spare to the same model I have had for a couple of years.I always wipe the outside with a damp cloth ,so no water stains (as mentioned in other review)It tends to be noisier while boiling when it needs a bit of descaling ( which do with a bit of white vinegar)otherwise it is no noisier than other kettles. A little bit of care and it looks and works like new (and now I have a spare)I have purchased many kettles both well and lesser known makes and to repurchase one means I am happy with it

Arrived on time. Nice looking kettle goes well with our kitchen, like the matt black. Boils quickly, not too noisy and pours well. The water had a slight taste at first, but this went after a couple of days. Previously had an older silver version that lasted ages, that had a strong blue light on the switch, this one is orange but not a bright - but the switch is perhaps not as sturdy.

Works well if a little noisy but who cares? Heats the water very quickly. Product looks good too. Worth the money. Recommended.

Good design - the kettle has a water level indicator on both sides so you can place it facing either direction. Indicator red light when switched on.A bit noisy when boiling but nothing very disruptive.Water can be filled directly through the spout, but at a slow pace. The lid opens quite easily with a switch release mechanism if you want to fill in water via the lid / clean the kettle.If the kettle is very full, care should be taken when pouring hot water from the spout as the angle can create a few splashes.Overall good but compared to other brands in the same range. I bought another one and returned it to be replaced with this - this works much better.

This kettle is wonderful, it’s lightweight with a sleek design. The only thing I will say is it’s not the exact same colour as in the images, it’s more of a bright light tomato red than a dark shine red. So be warned as I was a bit disappointed it didn’t match any of my other Morphy Richards red devices. But so far a great kettle
