Rant time! Sorry in advance!!!So I got what I thought would be so great for my daughter to learn on. I got her the new leap start 3D learning book. I also got her another book to put in for her age level to learn on. Now nowhere did I read that this thing needed to be set up by plugging it into a computer, and then downloading the books you have.. I do not have a computer cause I didn't have the need for one, everything I do can be done from my phone or tablet. Mind you this thing is not a computer. It's a toy. It doesn't connect to internet, in my mind it should have been as simple as putting in the new book and ready to go. No. No not the case at all. When you plug in the book it tells you you need to register and download it. Why! It never used to be like that! Why would I need to do that to a toy that's not connected to internet. I already bought the book. So I'm thinking I can try this from my phone. Nope. You need to plug it into a physical computer, but not just any computer this one doesn't like Chrome book... so not only do I need a computer but I need a specific computer. And they say it's a simple 5 steps. It's not. It's complicated and frustrating and actually sad because now I have a toy for my child she can't even play with, and I can't return because I got it early for a Christmas gift.. it's awesome. Thanks leap frog.

Bought this 3D learning system along with its 4 books for my daughter's second birthday. She has yet to figure out some of its features, which I think she will learn eventually as she gets older. By far this is the best toy we've ever bought for her, She really enjoys it. The 3D feature help keeps her entertain and allow her to relate to what she is hearing. I find its one of the good ways to learn something new specially with her reading and vocabulary at this stage. Its sturdy and light weighted which in my opinion is always a plus for kids for easy carrying, Perfect for long car rides Very versatile toy and can easily grows with kids.I only wished it came with at least one actual book instead of a sampler book. I bought 4 books already to go with it ( Scout & friends Math, Shapes & colors, Shine & vocabulary and Read & write) but the actual product does come with few activities and that doesn't require any book. Great toy for fun learning experience.

Do not buy this product. We ordered one, it worked great for a few days. The toy just stopped working for no reason. I sent it back and they mailed us a new one. Now this new leapfrog worked for 2 weeks & now has stopped working again. Not necessarily the sellers fault but the product is clearly junk. Super disappointed as my kids absolutely LOVE it & we have bought 6 books to go with it.

This has been an amazing product for my 3 year old! Beats the ipad, tv, video games, laptop, etc.It's very smart... incredibly interactive with stuff to click all over the place. I try to sit with my son but he actually wants to find all the sounds and different things it can do by himself.It seems everytime he sits down with one of these books, he finds something different it can do. So it's keeping him busy, and he's actually learning at the same time which is amazing.And it gives me a break and some peace at the same time! Woot woot, it's a win for everyone!!It's quite affordable, and most add on books are only 10 dollars and there's a nice variety for the different ages too.If I had to say one complaint, it's that there's not enough of the 3D images and a lot of the book just has sounds. So my son keeps thinking he's doing something wrong because one button makes the screen light up with dancing and music, and then the button beside it just plays music. More 3D videos would be a lot better.But other than that, it's amazing! Highly recommended!

Turquoise dans les commentaires est dans le champs, impossible d'installer les livres en français sur une Leapstart 3D. Je l'ai acheté en croyant qu'on pouvait le faire parce que j'ai suivi les conseils de quelqu'un qui n'a jamais essayer de le faire et maintenant je dois gérer une crise, merci Turquoise
