AC/DC Formulated? yes but what a formula consistent from beginning until present!
I remember as a kid discovering AC/DC, always hungry for a good hard rock sound like Krokus & Saxon they fit the bill!!! Being from the Mid West in the early 1970's we were roughly a year behind on the music scene. Remember this was long before the Net, so we would trek the 40+ miles to the nearest record shop & pick up Import Vinyl. From their debut album until their U.S. counter parts there were always differences on the U.S. v.s. the Import Albums from song line up's to so variant recordings. " If you want Blood" & " Let there be Rock" were officially separated by a year( most likely only months in difference) but still there were different songs & versions making the decision to add this to my collection a no brainer. The sound quality is fine but I am blessed to have the perfect mix between old school & modern tech. Yep I still got 4 foot tall solid wood speakers surrounding my living room. lol. But it's worth it because the human ear can pick up the difference. AC/DC has been accused of being formulated Rock & Roll for years & it would be foolish to argue that point...however if it's not broke don't try & fix it. Every AC/DC album you purchase is guaranteed to give you blues based Rock & Roll performed at its best so lets stop with the formulated business! Even my grandchildren get there grove on whether its Bon Scott or Brian Johnson, lets just forgive them for the whole Axle Rose debacle!!! " If you want Blood" sounds as fresh today as when it was released & even though I had versions of the songs on a box set for the price I was happy to get this C.D. cardboard case ( no need to worry about cracked case) great booklet & the classic graphic's not only satisfying a old timer but freaking out his grandkids! Great to add another Bon Scott era AC/DC to my collection & I must say it does sound great!!! Long live Rock & Roll & I hope I live long enough to see it come back to the point that many bands are at the quality level of AC/DC!!! Get it while it's affordable & available!!! With AC/DC releasing a brand new album in 2020 & bands like Greta Van Fleet, Hailstorm & Ronnie Radke maybe Likin Park, Korn & Rage Against the Machine aren't the last of the great rock bands!!!

Guitar Driven Rock n Roll
I don’t normally write reviews but I have been so blown away by this band I was compelled to do so! The energy of this band captured so well on this recording is quite frankly hard to beat! This is some of the best rock of this type you will find anywhere! Starting with Riff Raff all the way through to Rocker there is no letting up! I was hoping for a few extra songs but I admit it would hard to improve on this Lp! Climax for me is Let There Be Rock and that album is top 25 of all time by the way! Unfortunately it all came to an end on February 19 of 1980 with the tragic death of their lead singer Bon Scott! Even though they made another great album for me it was over and would never be the same again! But for that brief time 1975-79 they were on top of their game and on top of the rock world! This Lp is a testament of their power so just buy it! It’s a must!

It's ACDC!
Love ACDC and this CD. I copied it to the hard drive in my vehicle, I listen to the CD in a small player in the kitchen and in one in the bedroom. Sound quality is good.

Do You REALLY Like Hard Rock?
The mix is terrific. When you have the rhythm blasting behind Bon Scott's vocals, Malcolm Young's rhythm guitar (left channel) is every bit as loud and discernible as Angus Young's is (right channel). Twin guitars crunching out the chords. Malcolm is NOT relegated to the background. The bass and drums are also there, easy to hear, the rhythm section up front as they should be.When it is time for Angus' guitar solo, his lead goes up in volume, of course, but the backing instruments stay where they were. I guess what I'm saying is that you get to hear the entire BAND, which is what they were with Bon. Tight, loud, aggressive, and an answer to so many Guys' dreams, a hard rock band that didn't compromise, didn't wimp out and become "more melodic".The songs are great, they are often funny, they are almost always non-PC, and they are always satisfying. And there are no freaking BALLADS!You want blood, they deliver, my friends. A classic, classic album, catching a great hard rock band at their peak.

One of my all-time favorite albums and definitely one of the greatest live albums ever
I have had this selection in album format since the late 1970's but I had never added it in CD format to my collection even though I have all the other Bon Scott selections and most of the Brian Johnson selections in CD format. The fact that this is remastered and includes a nice picture book makes finally adding this even sweeter. On top of that, it is packaged in cardboard rather than a jewel case so it is actually delivered in undamaged condition...Thanks Angus!!

The real ACDC.
When you hear the first version of ACDC you realize the power of Mr. Scott. This is rock and roll at its finest.
