SanDiskExtreme PRO 128 GB up to 300MB/s UHS-II Class 10 U3 SDXC Memory Card, SDSDXPK-128G-GN4IN

Really found this deal unbelievable - the price was so good and was a bit worried how it would turn out when used. However, the item arrived in a brand new sealed retail pack and I have been using this SD card on my Nikon D850 for more than 2 weeks now and it works just perfect.

I use it for my car Performance Data Recorder (PDR) it worked perfectly with the highest quality.

Superb speed. I am a professional photographer for years and speed is always paramount when it comes to both write (when shooting) and read (when downloading). This card is lightning fast. It's pricey but the speed I gain from it and the time saving really justifies the spending for all my jobs.Mind you however, you do need a UHS-II compatible camera to take advantage of this card. If you don't, save yourself some money and get the 95MB/S card.

Ich habe mir die Sandisk Extreme Pro 300MB/s (im Folgenden einfach Sandisk 300MB/s genannt) für meine Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mk II gekauft, eine der wenigen aktuellen Kameras mit einem UHS-2 Contoller. Die Kamera speichert ihre Bilder mit der Karte merklich schneller weg. Um dieses "merklich" mit Zahlen zu belegen, habe ich 2 Benchmarks erstellt:1.) Die Kamera ist auf 15 Bilder (RAWs) pro Sekunde gestellt, ohne IS, S-AF. Dann habe ich 20 Sekunden den Auslöser durchgedrückt und am Ende gemessen wie viele Bilder die Kamera erstellt hat und nach wievielen Sekunden der Speichervorgang beendet wurde.Sandisk 300MB/s: 96 Bilder; Ende der Speicherung nach weiteren 10 SekundenZwei "alte" UHS-1 Karten von Sandisk bzw. Samsung: 77 Bilder; Ende der Speicherung nach weiteren 20 SekundenDas Ergebnis spricht zwar für die Sandisk 300MB/s, ich hätte aber einen größeren Unterschied erwartet.Das hat sich dann beim zweiten Benchmark bestätigt:2.) Die Kamera ist auf nur 5 Bilder (RAWs) pro Sekunde gestellt, ohne IS, S-AF. Dann habe ich 30 Sekunden den Auslöser durchgedrückt und am Ende gemessen wie viele Bilder die Kamera erstellt hat und nach wievielen Sekunden der Speichervorgang beendet wurde.Sandisk 300MB/s: 152 Bilder; Ende der Speicherung nach 0 Sekunden! — die Karte kann diese Datenmenge also endlos verarbeiten, und das obwohl jedes der RAW Bilder ca. 20 Megabytes groß ist.Zwei "alte" UHS-1 Karten von Sandisk bzw. Samsung: 115 Bilder; Ende der Speicherung nach weiteren 20 Sekunden, d. h. die Kamera wird hier merklich ausgebremst.Dieser zweite Versuch zeigt, meines Erachtens, schön den Mehrwert einer UHS-2 Karte bei einer entsprechenden Kamera.Ob das Mehr an Geschwindigkeit einem das Geld wert ist, muss letztendlich jeder für sich entscheiden.Man sollte außerdem bedenken, das die Karte auch am PC ihre Geschwindigkeit nur mit einem geeigneten UHS-2 Lesegerät ausspielen kann. Bspw. mit einem Lexar UHS-2 Reader am USB3 Port schafft sie ca. 250MB/s (ein Wert der den 300MB/s mit denen Sandisk wirbt, schon recht nahe kommt).Mit einem "normalen" UHS-1 Reader sind es nur noch ca. 95MB/s - hier ist dann der Reader der Flaschenhals. Völlig unsinnig ist der Versuch die Karte an einem USB2 Port zu betreiben - da werden dann nur noch 25 MB/s erreicht.Insgesamt ist die Karte meines Erachtens ihr Geld wert und hat 5 Sterne verdient, vorausgesetzt man besitzt eine UHS-2 kompatible Kamera.

I can't review the product becasue I have not received it. Instead a note through the door when I wasn't in saying "package too large for letterbox". Maybe I should repeat that. I ordered an SD card and the packaging is so voluminous that it would not fit through a letterbox. An SD card is a three dimensional product (obviously) with a longest dimension of just over an inch and a shortest dimension (thickness) of just under a tenth of an inch. . I have seen Amazon stupidity with excessvie packaging a lot this year biut this just about takes the biscuit.

I use the card with my Canon R and using cRAW and JPEG full res the buffer will never run full, you can shot infinite or at least until the card is full or the camera overheads. I did not try any other combination yet, but even is the buffer runs full it clears very fast with this card. Might be the best card for Canon R, from the write/read speeds, brand depends on personal taste.Creating in camera HDR also speed up by half the time using this new card.I also had 290MB/sec write speed using a Dell Laptop (using some large files) with build in SDCard slot/reader, I never reached that speed with the TS-RDF9K, which is sad I specifically purchased / upgraded the previous 8 version to get full UHS-II speed and get nowhere close to 160MB/s :(So be sure your device can fully utilize the speed at least the camera, the reader can be easily replaced anyway.PS: I had the same card but with 95MB/sec in use before upgraded to the 300MB/s.

I purchased one of these cards prior to visiting the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, where I knew I would be photographing some very high-speed jets. A high ‘write’ speed is essential for this type photography if you want to get those all-important shots without the camera buffering. I’m pleased to say the card worked extremely well with my EOS 5D MkIV in high-speed continuous mode. There was a noticeable improvement in speed both whilst using the camera and also downloading the images. It’s too early to comment on the reliability of this card, or video use, (I only do still photography), but my other SanDisk cards have proved reliable.If high speed action is your thing it’s probably worth the fairly hefty price tag for the 300MB/s card, but if speed isn’t your top requirement stick to the 95MB/s card, which is perfectly adequate and considerably cheaper...
