This review is for the 13 x 4 Lace Front Wig - 18”:I tried the wig on straight out of the box without cutting the lace. The lace is more of a light/smoky brown color and looks almost transparent against my skin. There’s an ample amount of lace for parting and it’s pre-plucked nicely. The wig had minor shedding when I ran my fingers through it before washing it. It is very full, frizzes easily but still looks natural and it has a slight odor as is consistent with new human hair products but nothing foul. The color looks brownish-black and the hair is very, very soft. I misted water on the hair and ran my fingers through it, the last picture is after the hair dried. Order the wig in a longer length to be able to fix the uneven, choppy layers. And the cap is big head friendly, I have one! ! I received a stocking cap and wig tips card with my unit. Customer Service was great from start to finish. Overall, a good purchase for the price and I would purchase again.10/28/18 Update: I ordered another of the same in16” but the hair was too short and I couldn’t work with the unevenness of the layers, so I returned it. I also cut the 18” wig about 4” shorter as it was too long to be that voluminous. It’s a lot tamer when it’s wet and with product in it. I used Cantu Leave-in Cream on dampened hair but once it’s dry....it enlarged tremendously - even without manipulation other than to keep it out of my face. If you love “BIG” BEAUTIFUL HAIR - go for it!

In short- if you only plan to wear it for a month and don’t mind putting in some work to make it look natural. Buy it. If you are looking for a long term unit (more than a month) or something easy to wear this might not be the right one for you. Especially with its price tag.The wig is nice the first 4 to 6 weeks, it’s soft, looks full, and does the job. But the lace part is kind of short, a bit hard, and you need to put in work to make it look natural especially since it does not come with baby hairs or pre-plucked or bleached (like at all). The biggest con is that the hair will start to mat and tangle very badly (even if you don’t wear it while sleeping, use leave-in, and take good care of it). By week 6 I could no longer wear it, so much hair had fallen off the lace and it tangled up so much. So purchase wisely.

I am in love with this wig. I love the density of the wig , the hair Doesn’t shed at all ! I did NOT have to pluck the hair wig at all it came perfect. It was so easy to install. The lace melted perfectly. The straps in the back fits your head securely! This high quality wig will even come back to its natural shine and texture after washing it .It’s really the Perfect Wig. I can’t wait to purchase my next one

The hair is soft to the touch. My tangle brush glides easily from the scalp to the ends when wet. The hair is manageable with minimal shedding. When I wear it, it’s bouncy, natural looking and matches my curl pattern. I like leaving my own hair edges out and pushing the sides of the wig slightly behind my ear. The blend is perfect! You cannot tell I’m wearing a wig. I’m totally amazed! As a rule, I’ve stayed away from this curl pattern because I thought it would be too hard to handle… this is absolutely not the case with this wig. For this reason and the fact that it looks like my own head of hair and it’s affordably priced, I recommend the purchase. I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. Full disclosure… I’ve had the wig approximately a month or two. I’ve worn it about 10 times. I’ve co-washed it twice. I may wet and brush through a small amount of coconut curl cream on areas that become a little frizzy. The curl pattern easily “pops” and “shines” into place. I do not sleep in it and it rest on a styrofoam wig head when not wearing.

Update: Today is July 30, 2019. I wanted to give an update on the short, Brazilian human hair wig I left a 4 Star Review about about not long ago. I had to come back and give it 5 Stars. Believe it or not, this wig has grown on me tremendously. Remind you, I am huge on longer hair (30-40 inches). Each time I wash this wig, it gives me everything I want in a wig, (soft, easy to manage, no tangles, no shedding). Something else that's adorable about this wig is the fact that it gives you different patterns (curly hair, wavy, etc). You can wear it loose and light; you can wear it big and puffy. When I wash it, I deep condition it for about 10 minutes and wash it out. Then, I spray a Biosilk leave in conditioner on it, style it how I plan to wear it and let it air dry. The next day, that wig is everything. Just put it on and go. I would buy it again from BLY.Old review (unedited):In all honesty, I like this wig. I am not used to wearing short wigs at all. I always wear 30-40 inches; however, I knew ordering a 14 inch, curly wig would somewhat shed some difficulty and I thought it would be possibly perfect for a good ponytail - but when I got it - it was no where near a 14 inch. It's definitely 8 inches across the board (straight, curly, or wet). Now, let me say this: I got soooo many compliments for sure. It's a pretty wig but I want my 14 inches, ya know? If you like your hair above your shoulders, this is definitely the wig to buy.

i was super ready for this wig, even waited till it was available for overnight shipping to purchase. the parting space was nice, the knots were incredible… now, the hair was odd… plenty short hairs throughout the wig. the threads/bundles were spaced funny and left noticeable bumps on both sides. the hair for the frontal was way thinner & coarser than the back which was soft thick & silky. the hair refuses to lay (especially the frontal) idk. maybe a 2 star rating is generous. i buy wigs from amazon often, after several efforts to style this wig on the second day i took it off & threw it in the drawer. disappointing.

The media could not be loaded.  This wig is a disaster. The top half of the wig is a totally different texture than the bottom half. The top is short and dry, bottom is not true to length but the texture is okay. Once I washed it, the top got EXTREMELY MATTED. Trying to get the mats out made bald spots in the wig

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the hair on the lace. It does not look or feel like human hair. The density of the hair in the front is less than the back and coarse, plastic-like. It is so upsetting to see all YouTube Hair influencers get the real units, but I get what feels like fake hair.I am not satisfied at all and have returned the hair.

Very poor quality. Just received and washed and hung to dry on wig stand. Short poke up hairs and extremely thin. I will never use this
