Update:To summarize, my experience with this product is now 5 star. The purity is fantastic. I have a very fast metabolism, so I notice when I take this supplement, because my joints start popping and sliding into place after 30 minutes. I get the same result after the same 1.5 grams from standard glucosamine sulfate from shrimp and fish product after an hour or so, which is slower.I don't always take it every day and it does not affect the pain relief and joint lubrication at all. This is great for me. I have gone several days without it and notice the lack in lubrication in my joints, so I take it again. Being strongly Greek, I don't doubt my need for fish oil and this sort of thing, so I love the purity of this supplement for suppling a diet I could not otheriwise so cleanly achieve, considering with the dirtiness of ocean fish and farmed fish nowadays...5 starts for excellent purity and pain relief! And noticeable joint lubrication for an athlete like myself. To compare its efficacy, I was getting similar pain relief (slightly less) from NSAIDs, like advil, taking it every day, at the max dose (as advised by a rebukable doctor).Old review:Good supplement, poor dating. I am unsure as to why the bottle I receive is within 6 months of expiration... Seems like it has been sitting on the shelves too long IMO. I use less than the recommended dose, so it lasts longer than just a month for me. I need the expiration date to be further off. So 4 stars instead of 5 for poor datingWhat I've noticed and why I use it:-Popping joints! Like wohh, I noticed my joints started popping very loudly upon taking this. This was the first thing I noticed. My knees have never popped so loud in my life. I had popping before and it does not really bother me, and actually feels relieving often and like nothing the other times.-Pain relief! So great, and why I continue taking it despite the loud popping in my joints. I have chronic neck pain, and used to take NSAID's every day until they began giving me issues. This brings around the same amount of relief, but by a different mechanism of action which is great for me so I can take some other supplements could not take with the NSAIDs.-Relief all over :) I have laxity and some associated chronic vertebrae instability. This supplement is helping me recover from these things by relieving my pain.-Placebo: it's nice to know that the derivation of collagen and glucosamine sulfate is natural in this product. It's just like thinking you are consuming corn and chicken broth or something to help your joints, along with some fish. Would be gross in a soup together but as a pill it works.If you rely on NSAIDs for any joint instability or pain, I highly recommend this as an alternative.

It is an excellent supplement for pain relief of knee problems. It is expensive but it does a great job in reducing the stiffness in my joints. Additionally, it is made by a reputable company, which has been endorsed by several medical doctors.

I am 56 years old and work out regularly, I have bone to bone arthritis in my right hip and arthritis in my left hip, grade 3 chondromalacia patella in both knees. I have spine facet joint arthritis which causes my discs to be out by 3-6 mm (L3,4,5 and S1). I am always achey and stiff whether I work out or not so I choose to keep working out. I am so stiff in the mornings, it takes me forever to get going, I ordered this product 1/6/2023 and started taking it the same day. Today 1/10/2023 I noticed I got out of bed easier (not feeling like I was about to fall) and my joints are moving better. I am actually feeling better. I hope it will get even better as the days go by. I will update after I finish my first bottle, but so far I'm a believer. Pain and stiffness isn't completely gone, but if I can move a bit easier I'm all in.

I have taken Omega 3 Joint Extra for several years and found it helpful for my arthritic thumbs and feet! It has become very hard to find. Hopefully it isn’t being discontinued!

Here's what I've noticed: there REALLY is a difference in my joint comfort, including lack of snap, crackle, pop -- feeling like a bowl of Rice Crispies (LOL). These pills contain Collagen Type II, so I always take Vitamin C to make the Collagen more bioavailable. I usually take 3 pills 2x/day when I accidentally let them run out. When I do that, after about 2-3 days I'm back in the QUIET comfort zone. I think this says a lot about the quality of this product.
