Works great
I'm using this to illuminate an August keypad which is supposed to have its own PIR sensor which never worked. But that's for another review. This light is inexpensive and works great. Does not trigger in daylight or false trigger at night. Been a couple months operating on original batteries so no complaint there. Highly recommend.

Bright light! Bright light! - Gizmo
I used this to light the key hole on my front door. Won me some brownie points from my girlfriend. This unit is the perfect fit on the frame around the door. Well, at least mine anyway. It’s got a reliable sensor, lights up every time. The plastic housing allows you to paint it to match the background it’s mounted against. Once the back plate is screwed on, the light itself slides off upwards easily for the single AA battery changing.

Stopped working after 3 months
This was very nice when I first bought it because it did exactly what I bought it for. I could see the key hole easily and didn't have to search, by feel, to get the key in the lock. The photo sensor was a little too sensitive. The slightest amount of shade and it would activate. This reduces battery life. I could live with that but now it will not work. I replaced the battery twice and it lights up initially for a few seconds then goes off and won't turn on again. waste of money.
