Holds up
I’ve had this since 2018 & it’s still holding up well. I would definitely buy again & recommend. The shoulder stray& bag exterior are in great shape without any ripping or tearing.

A Great Computer Brief Case!
I searched for a new, larger laptop computer case when I got my 17" HP Envy notebook computer. I read about the bags, looked at pictures, went to stores to look at them, and read reviews. I found a consumer guide that rated this product #1, a Case Logic model #2, and the Three Gusset 17 Samsonite Classic #3. I already liked this Samsonite Classic Two Gusset 17" as my first choice. The features of #1 and #2 were about the same. #3 is wider, and has an extra compartment for files, clothes, etc. I chose the Samsonite Classic 17 Two Gusset, and have used it, and I love it. The Samsonite build-quality is outstanding. It looks good, and works good. The middle compartment is where the computer goes. It is retained in a padded envelope with a Velcro retaining strap. In that compartment, there are three pockets for peripherals drives, CD-DVD's, directional recording devices, or other items. I used those three pockets for cords, adapters, mouse, and my Pocketalker hearing device. The pockets are big enough to neatly place more than one item in each pocket. These pockets are separated from the computer by the computer padding. The back compartment is for document files, magazines, paper tablets, etc. The back pocket has two dividers, and a couple inches of room. I put in files, tablets, and my iPad in the back compartment. The front zipper compartment has pockets inside for cell phone or calculator, pens, business or credit cards, and room for miscellaneous items...flash drives, miscellaneous office supplies like clips and post-its, high-lighters, breath mints. The smaller front sipper compartment is great for important papers like hotel reservations, plane tickets, car rental docs, and directions to event centers. Mine is not used, and I know how I like to fill and organize it. I like the fact that the case is firm and holds it's shape, and the fabric appears to be indestructible. The should strap works perfectly, and the handles are comfortable. If you need more room inside, as in clothes or many big files, I'd select the Samsonite Classic Three Gusset, but this one is perfect for me. Amazon price was about 1/3 of MSRP. A great buy.

The last bag you'll need for the next few years, at least.
I don't remember when I originally rated this, but I'm holding at 5 stars. I bought this bag 4 years ago and I'm honestly only looking to replace it now as a matter of vanity. The zipper on the very back, on the part that functions as a thick strap to fit over the handle of rolling luggage, is broken basically beyond repair. It was workable for a while, but it's dead. Otherwise the rest of the bag is FINE, literally like new, after 4 years of daily use at work, 5 days a week. This bag is surprisingly massive for being so compact. Each of the gussets has an inner fold that allows it to expand to accommodate the weirder items you might want to cram into it. I originally picked this one to accommodate the full width of a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard in the laptop pocket, which it carried like a champ. After moving from tech support to development, the same pocket fits my Macbook Pro perfectly, along with pockets for my charger, any other wires I may need to carry, an insulated stainless mug, a 7 day pill sorter, some flash drives, a pocket knife, a small medicine cabinet, multiple packs of sanitary wipes, the folder containing all of my divorce paperwork, a couple small notebooks and some pens, a Nintendo Switch, and whatever breakfast and lunch I packed for the day. With all that inside, I could still fit a bunch of stuff comfortably into it.At home, the bag is just the right height to fit into one of the square shelves of an IKEA Expedit or Kallax storage unit. In my car, it's just the right size to fit behind the driver's seat in the floorboard. In general, I stay busy and I'm constantly doing something. This bag has been just the right size for my whole crazy life.
