I finally had enough of waiting for indian repair crews that never have good material. Fixing it myself is easy and convenient and cost a lot less.

I bought this 12 pack for a client's kitchen door replacement project. The soft-close works well and were generally as expected. HOWEVER, only 5 of the 6 pairs were consistent and as expected. The last pair was DIFFERENT. It had the door screw holes offset, which would have caused a problem if the doors hinge locations were pre-machined in a standard pattern.. They also had a built in cam-screw for front/back adjustment, which the 5 pairs did not have. The overlay.offset did not appear too different Luckily I had to machine all door pockets so I could utilise the incorrect pair. However, this could have been very embarrassing, especially because of our remote location and waiting for replacements would have been impractical. Lastly, although I fitted them, the odd pair will cause problems if they ever need to be replaced.I would be wary of buying these again because of this inconsistency within a sealed bag in a sealed box. This creates my 3 star rating. If all hinges were identical (as the correct 5 pairs), this would have got 5 stars.Lastly, and I did not even need to look until I found the mismatch, the instruction sheet (that came with the hinges) contained at least one conflicting dimension ( probably from a transposed inch/mm conversion), duh!. Don't rely on these without checking them... Standard of technical documentation about as good as quality control?

Before ordering you'll want to carefully look at hole pattern on these hinges to make sure they match your existing hinges. The holes on the doors fall exactly dead center of the hinge itself. Most of the soft-close hinges models I tried before these had an offset hole pattern, meaning I would have to drill a second set of holes in the cabinet doors... not a great idea.For the price, these are excellent - I found they close smoothly and silently. Patience required to get the hinges calibrated with all the settings but that is normal. On my cabinets, I found that I had better results if I sliced off the plastic backing behind the old hinges with an exacto knife before installing these.

I swapped these for the original hinges, because we liked our cabinets but wanted the soft close feature. These did just that. They were easy to install, used the same holes and screws from the original hinges. Much cheaper than a kitchen reno.

I had a number of hinges on my kitchen cupboards that were failing. These hinges were perfect replacement fit and so far are working perfectly.

Ordered 3 packs (18 hinges in total). 4 are broken already. Was it quality control issues or are they just not good. I still have a few days to return. I will most certainly return a pack of mostly broken ones. Considering returning them all. Not the type of quality item I expected. It is the same small plastic piece that pivots at the end of the cylinder that broke on all 4 hinges.
