CrucialP1 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT500P1SSD8 2TB CT2000P1SSD8

Got this for my new rig. Had it installed via a PCIe adapter in my old PC to copy my files. The reading speed is blazing fast when compared with SATA SSDs or SATA HDDs. Writing is a bit slow when compared with other M2 NVMe however it is much much faster when compared with SATA SSDs or SATA HDDs. The problem with writing start showing up when you attempt to write large files and by large I mean a couple GB files. I would not advise it if you needs high writing speeds (hosting VMs with huge image files for example on this M2)

I am using this as a boot drive and already doing some 4K video editing work, no issues so far and the performance is really good when compared with traditional HDD.

This is very fast actually.. this is my 2nd day using this HD.. I managed to move 100GB of data(loads of files) within 2 min.. it's a tiny beast to be honest.. I will buy more if future...

The first time the device worked fine, the speed was much more than 1gb/s.With time the speed started to decrease, after 2 years it was down to 200mb/swhich is lower than regular Sata SSDs.I had to replace it with another model

Very economical choice compared to other brand. The one I received in UAE is made in Thailand not Mexico as in the picture. Using it for few weeks now - I think it performs very well!

I think this is the best value for money M.2 NVMe ssd. My speed with Hdd was around 100 mbps. Now I am getting around 1700-1800 mbps which is close to 20 times faster. Laptop boots up under 10 seconds. Definitely recommend to go for this if your motherboard has NVMe slot as its much faster than traditional 2.5 inch ssd where the speed is maxed out around 500 mbps.

Was a good buy given the price and did not want to go up to a Samsung 980 Pro (already had one for boot drive in my main gaming rig).

Ideal for upgrading MacBook Pro with, ideally, Sintec adapter in Apple propriety Slot on Logic board., useful boost in Performance and is good with Bootcamp Win10 \11 installation as well. OCLP Monterey and Ventura work like a charm, See Mac Rumours web page for compatible NVMe drives as not every NVMe drive is compatible, Needs OS Mojave preinstalled in many instances to update the firmware before use.

Using the 2TB version as a data drive (while the 1TB is used as an OS/program drive):+ Have been using Crucial SSDs since the M4 days and I have never had an issue, so I keep coming back to Crucial.+ Although the P1s are no speedsters, even by Gen 3 SSD standards, they get the job done, reliably and consistently.+ Decent size eSLC cache size.- The 2TB version has better performance and endurance than the 1TB one, but I would recommend to look at Crucial P5 NVMe (which was not out when I bought the P1 1TB drive).Used on a PC system with:MB: Gigabyte X570 Aurus EliteOS: Windows 10 x64 20H2

Os SSD's realmente dão um bom upgrade no PC. Fiz a aquisição desse SSD para aumentar a capacidade de armazenamento, devido alguns jogos que uso, da Steam. Substituí o anterior SSD, de 525 gb, por este, de 1000 gb (931 gb disponíveis ao usuário). Instalei em um Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming 5577, e está funcionando normalmente. Espero que dure, pelo menos tanto quanto seu antecessor.
