I received this order today, the quality and workmanship is clean and it's heavy duty. The shaft measures 8 1/2" from base to top, with 7 1/2" of free space to stack weight plates and the bottom is flat. The supplied carabiner is heavy duty as well. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I had to get creative to mount this in the floor joists in the overhead of my basement. I have creatively stacked over 100 pounds on it and it works fine

The media could not be loaded.  Great deal. I like this system a lot. The price was affordable and it fit my purposes perfectly. I used a socket set, electrical tape, and shears to put it together. I installed it as a low row on my cable machine. I will say the only thing I feel slightly reserved about are the cable clamps. I think crimps may be a better option, but these seem to hold 200lbs just fine. I would recommend lock-tite to secure the nuts on the screws of the clamps. After I cut the cable I used the tape to cover the sharp edge. Overall install time was less than 20 minutes with the right tools.

Using it on my Rep PR5000 Ares to connect to a low row pulley attachment I got off Etsy. The nuts are a little small and hard to get to with a wrench, but once it's tightened in place it isn't moving. Nice cable. So far no issues with the nylon(?) coating. Works well.
