Skate Helmet

This helmet looks so much better than the traditional, dorky-looking bike helmets. The size adjustment works very well, only I wouldn't fool with it too much because it might break from overuse. Once set, it seems to hold the same adjustment. I've been wearing mine daily for several weeks, and I'm very pleased, especially for the price.ADDENDUM: I just had a freak accident on my bike this morning, 29 May 2013, where I flipped forward and the front of my head made a direct hit on pavement. I was able to immediately get up and peddle home. The extent of the damage was that my left arm and thumb are a little sore. There were no effects to my head or neck from the impact, either at the time of the accident or later. I was really surprised, because my head came down and slammed the pavement. There's a couple scratches around one of the front vent holes on the helmet. It's made me a believer!

I may change this to five stars when I actually use this helmet while riding my bike -- it is nice, has cool skulls on it, and looks very sturdy -- but right now I bought it because I am restoring an old Chevy and EVERY TIME I would dip my head down to go into the car or work near the hatch, I would crack my forehead. My neighbors, a bit dismayed to hear my effusive vocabulary, are now probably laughing at the sight of me wearing this helmet while working on the car, but I have BONKED MY HEAD 4 times already and the helmet has taken the hit, not me.And yes if I damage it while working on my car, I will NOT wear it while bike riding, but so far it has not been damaged.

This Helmet was caught between a rock and a hard place. (rock being the ground and hard place being my cranium) I passed out while riding my mountain bike and fell off and landed flat on my back. The helmet hit the ground so hard it cracked all the way through in a few places. I got a concussion. I was knocked out. However, no fractures, no internal bleeding. No issues since. Thanks to this helmet and the big guy upstairs.

I almost didn't buy this helmet because some of the reviews weren't so great, but I'm sure glad I did. This is an excellent helmet at a low price. I hated my old, "aerodynamic" helmet. I'm 50 and bike to school and back, so I'm not interested in a speedy-look. I considered buying a rock climbing helmet, but there isn't enough padding to protect my noggin in one of those. This helmet has sufficient padding, and a better look. Fit great too.

I only bought a helmet because I was hit by a car already and my woman made me. That being said, most helmets look stupid and weak while I'm neither. I got this one because it looks the least silly and I can ride without feeling like I'm looking for people to make fun of me. Would have been 5 stars if not for a few small issues with the helmet. First the picture is shows a matte helmet but the one I got is a high gloss black one; still fine just didn't think it would be as shiny. Second, the white designs are there to stay. I thought they would be stickers I could peel off but that's not the case. No worries, I'm going to just Sharpie over them and wear it because it doesn't look entirely stupid.

Even when I tighten the knob all the way, the helmet is slightly loose. Maybe I just have a small head. I was wearing in a roller derby bout yesterday and it did not protect me from a side impact from another players helmet. I have a minor concussion.

I was hit by a truck shortly before purchasing this helmet. The worst part of a cyclist being hit by a truck is the know-it-alls who tell you it's essentially your fault for not wearing the proper protection. My problem with helmets is that often a part of my peripheral vision is obscured by them. That is not the case with this helmet. It has served me very well. It also looks less geeky than standard helmets.

It's a great looking helmet and seems to be made really well. But I guess I have a big head because the chin straps don't fit right, no matter how much I adjust them. Not that this is unusual because none of the "affordable" helmets you find in the store fit either. Unfortunately, shipping it back for a return is quite pricey so I'll have to save it as a gift or garage sale it locally.

Es un bonito casco, desafortunamente me queda muy chico. He medido la circunferencia de mi cabeza de desde la frente hasta la nuca como indican varias paginas de equipo de proteccion y cascos, y mide entre 60 y 62 cm.Alguien con la cabeza mas pequeña probrablemente le calce bien.En la parte trasera cuenta con un sistema de ajuste. Una rueda que puedes girar para lograr un mejor ajuste.Se ve de buena calidad, buena ventilacion.Cumple con las normas y estandares de la CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission)

I bought two of these to be used as bike helmets for my girlfriend and I. Finding a helmet that doesn't look ridiculous is a tall order and I wanted something that was simple. I wasn't sure about this one because buying a helmet online is risky but when the order arrived, I was super happy. Because the back of the helmet is adjustable, it fits my fat head as well as my girlfriends regular sized girl head. The helmet is comfortable and is very light. For the price I don't think you can do much better. The quality of this helmet does not dictate the price. Awesome deal, thank you.

El producto lo utilizo para protección para patinar, el casco es de buena calidad y tiene buena forma, lo único en lo que pienso puede quedar un poco bajo es el acabado de pintura ya que tiene algunos detalles.

El diseño es muy atractivo, pero al ponértelo no sientes que cubra tu cabeza totalmente, me sentía vulnerable a cualquier impacto así que decidí que no era un casco para mí. Lo devolví y compré otro.

Beautiful helmet and my son loves it. The quality is very good as well and the design very attractive. I'm sure it will last for a few years since the size is adjustable. Go for it.
