Lodge Cast Iron Pan 17" L17SK3, Black

This is my 3rd Lodge cast iron and I love their products. It is durable and versatile, you can use it on stoves, grills and convection oven! I have 2 Lodge sizzling cast iron plates and I had fun using it in serving sizzling dishes and I am definitely excited for this skillet. Though doing the pre-seasoning task is a bit of work, it is totally worth it as it will make your your cast irons work perfectly for a very very long time. If you do not know how to pre-seasoned your cast iron there is one YouTube video by Martha Stewart that is very easy to follow. This is a good investment for your kitchen especially if you like to cook and bake like me!

I like this frying pan, it cooks meat beautifully, really bringing out the flavours in bacon and beef. I like the fact that it is made in the USA and isn't a throwaway item, it should last a lifetime.

Perfect size for 2, 4 or 6. Does everything you'd expect of cast iron to do - heat / cooking size. Stove top to oven to table. Highly recommend adding to kitchen arsenal. V.happy with shipping & service too.

I am satisfied with this pan. Big enough to cook food for family of 3-4 people, food does not stick. Also it is deep and you can easily mix everything while frying. You can also put it the oven, as the handles are comfortable for this and it has not rubber or plastic on.

This is my 2nd Lodge cast iron pan. It does need to be seasoned before using it even though it says it is pre-seasoned. You can use it for meat or dessert, on fire, in the oven, on the hob... anywhere! Just be prepared for its heavy weight and extra care it needs.I got it delivered on the next day of my purchase. Very happy.

Excellent for small volume of any kind of oil deep fry like vada.

I love this small cast iron pan. Great size for 1 or 2 people. I baked Potatoes Anna (in my countertop oven) using parchment paper on the bottom and the 3 potatoes were golden brown on the top and bottom. I barely had to wipe it clean. I love the two side handles. Please note that the 8 in. diameter is the top measurement not including the handles and the inside bottom cooking area is approx. 6 inches. Love it !

Cosa aggiungere? Questa misura mi mancava per comprare le altre, lodge è sempre una garanzia.con questa grandezza riesco a cuocere tutto in un unica andata, senza mille altre pentole. Pollo al curry dall' inizio al fine n in una unica pentola. Molto pesante ma quello si sa. Stra cosiglio

Update: Photo of Skillet Breakfast Dish added. This skillet cooks and bakes great from the very first use!I cook and bake extensively, all of our meals are eaten at home with food I prepare. I love cooking and baking in cast iron, and needed an additional cast iron 8 inch lid. Also wanted to add an 8 inch cast iron skillet with dual loop handles to my cookware, primarily for baking. Lodge is the only cast iron brand I will purchase. Very happy with this 8 inch cast iron skillet!- Comes pre-seasoned so good to use as soon as you receive it.- Outstanding quality. Heavy duty and durable. Fantastic even heat retention.- The dual loop handles are both comfortable and easy to grab. The handles are particularly helpful when baking with the skillet. Much easier to get the skillet into and out of the oven with 2 handles to grab.- Fantastic for both cooking and baking. Easily fits in my Breville Smart Oven Pro Countertop Oven with plenty of room to spare.- The high quality and versatility of this cast iron skillet makes it a terrific value. It will last a lifetime!I highly recommend this product.
