Looks good but not so great to handle. Food like ginger or garlic easily slips from under. Not enough weight to crush larger stuff. Useful to grind spices though. Could have been better.

This is just another mortar and pestle. That’s obvious. But the reason you’re considering this is most probably because of the design — that beautiful wooden handle in the product pictures.Let me be the one to bear the sad news - the finish on the wood is terrible. It’s rough, with weird patches (mine came with white flaky glue stuck to the wood) and soaks water.The last part (of the handle soaking water) is a facepalm moment — this product is supposed to get wet and if the wood is not sealed and polished then it is anyone’s guess how long the handle will last.Dear manufacturer, if you’re charging a 5x premium because of the handle, please put some effort on making this last long. If the wood disintegrates, the whole thing becomes unusable.Oh and the inner side of this is smooth. Keep that in mind as it won’t do a good at its core function too.

I'm happy with the product

Solid, heavy and sturdy product.... looks classy too. A tad hard to crush very small quantity of condiments tjough. It’s pretty big in size and that works for me so I’m happy with the product.

Yes I have usd this product,even though the appearance is very good,it's too slippery from inside aas well as the pestle stone is too smooth..making it very useless to pound any thing..Every product that I try pounding it slips out due to the super smooth finish

Marble is nice and it’s very weighty. It was easy to use and mash with. I have only mashed dried things so far. The grip is good and sturdy while using.

Beautiful white marble color. Perfect size for grinding herbs & seeds. Great quality craftsmanship & works really well! This would make a great gift too! Would definitely recommend!
