Face Painting Kit for Kids with 16 Colors - Step-by Step Tutorial Included

Compared to other oil-based face painting products we have used, this is very easy to remove and it came out very beautiful. Love this product.

I bought this for my kids 3rd birthday party and it was one of the biggest highlights of the party. All the kids enjoyed having their faces painted and some even ignored the birthday cake when it came out so they could continue getting painted. The adults who painted the kids faces said it was very easy to use. The only concern was using the right amount of water on the paint to get the right consistency. Another big plus are the stencils that come with the set. After the adults were done painting, my 9 year old niece took over using the stencils and made some pretty impressive pictures and shapes on the rest of the kids. At the end of the day all the paint washed off easily with soap and water except for one color (I don't remember which one). It took a little more scrubbing but it did come off. After the party I noticed that there was a sticker covering the writing that said “FDA approved” on the package but none of my kids had any reactions and I didn’t receive any complaints from any of the other parents. I would definitely suggest using this product and will order again for my next kids party.

I think for the price this is a good little kit. We bought it for a birthday party and the kids loved it. I will say that a few of the colors stain. Green and purple and red. They leave a hint of color after washing with soap and water. But by the next day it will wash off. I’m uploading some pictures of before and after we wash them off with soap and water. The yellow and light blue are hard to see unless you put white under it.As far as the stencils go, they are only usable a handful of times. Then they stop being sticky and the color will bleed underneath.The paint does take a little practice with getting it the right consistency. My face painters had a hard time getting it right. I found that if you dip your brush into water and then swirl the brush around the paint or a bit the consistency seems to be the best.For the price I think this is a great starter kit and the kids (age 12 and under) love it. My 6 year old could do it by herself.

We used two of these face painting kits for a festival and they worked fabulously! We figured out how to make the consistency work best by mixing in water and work it, or else it could be a bit runny at first. It goes on beautifully and smoothly with brushes. We used the brushes in the kit as well as some other brushes we purchased additionally. The included sponges were okay, but not great for a smooth application. They work great for stippling and definition, but a smoother sponge would work better to apply the paint cleanly. We had good luck with the brushes, however. For layering, we had to wait just a little to let the base dry enough to add the other colors, unless we wanted them to be blended colors. The colors are vibrant and last wonderfully without cracking and flaking. The face paint also washes off cleanly with simple soap and water. We did not use the included stencils for this festival, but we plan to try them out another time. We were extremely pleased with our purchase and plan to repurchase in future.

I've never done face painting before and the closest thing I've used before this is costume crayons. I bought this for Halloween and my daughter and her friends were so excited. There was a small paper inside with instructions and it comes with two brushes (fine tip and regular paint brush the size you get with a water color kit), and some sponges. The stencils made it easy and quick to create professional looking designs and the texture of the paint and brushes were easy to use free hand as well. Remember to keep a cup of water and paper towel on hand to rinse off the brush between colors.I noticed the kit is made in China and was leary about a skin reaction but they had no problems at all. The paint quality seemed to be pretty good, especially for the price. I think it's much better than something you'd find at Walmart.I use this as a reward for good behavior now! My daughter loves that she can show it off to her friends and tell them why she got it.

I bought these for my son’s Pete the Cat costume. I did the patch test with no reaction, but then read on the instructions that yellow and red shouldn’t be used around the eyes. The whole reason I bought this was to use yellow around the eyes! I wish that warning had been in the description somewhere. I ended up using a different brand of yellow for his eyes just to be safe.Painting details was easy enough, but large areas were difficult using the sponges provided. The paint needs added water to be usable, but the sponges soak up all the water! I ended up using one of the little brushes for his entire face and it took forever (especially with a squirmy 4-year-old).I did really love how fast it dried and how well it stayed on! I also loooooved how easy it was to wash off! Just a few seconds in the shower and it was almost completely gone with just water!

Bought this kit for my grandbabies aunt. She will be watching them through the summer and she loves doing stuff like this with the kids. Just so happened it arrived on the day of my granddaughters bday party. Needless to say she kept the kids busy with the painting. She had told me later that she wasntb sure who enjoyed more.
