I really, really like this guitar. It feels great, plays easy. Really balanced. I almost went for the model with the Wilkinson bridge - I've never had a guitar with a Floyd before and, so far, I like it a lot more than I thought I would. Definitely playable right out of the box with no setup required (though I'll probably want to tweak a few things down the road). As you'd expect, it provides a lot of cool tones. I guess if I absolutely HAD to complain about something, I wouldn't mind having a thicker maple top instead of a veneer - but that's pretty minor. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase

First off the bridge pickup is not a true Tele pickup.I bought a set of fender Tele pickups to put in this. When I took it to my tech he said the bridge pickup wasJust a run of the mill single coil. A tele bridge pickup won't fit. Then we opened up the control cavity, and what did we see, but black electrical tape. It seems they put the tone pot too close to the input jack so when plugged in it shorted out on the pot. Real perfesionals.I think we got around this by installing a CTS 500k mini pot. Almost half the size. But I will wait to hear from him to see if it worked. The rest of the guitar is beautiful.Too bad they spend money on a real Floyd Rose, and Wilkeson tuners, but cheap out on the pots. A very inexpensive part. My opinion, wait a year or two to see if they are still around of if the quality imroves.

Out of the box it need immediately TLC. It was very dry. A few hours in the bathroom with the shower on fixed that. I was very impressed how easy it was to setup.

Buying a guitar without playing it first is a tough thing to do. A guitar is all about feel and one person might love the feel of a guitar while another simply doesn't. This guitar just doesn't do it for me. The neck feels a bit thicker than I like and it's a gloss neck which I really don't like. The humbuckers are fine but I find the sound of the single coils a bit lacking. Overall though, there's nothing wrong with the guitar and I am sure there are others who will love it. I just don't.
