I bought this hair color last year and put it aside when I decided to try a more dramatic color instead. I decided to transition out of drama and used this color four weeks ago. I left it in for an hour to get the best results, and was very happy with the color and it has lasted much longer than the color I was using. Four weeks later and I don't feel the need to re-color yet and no roots are showing (with my last color, it faded so light that my roots came in dark). I would definitely buy this brand again.UPDATE - This was the first week I thought that I should have colored my hair over the weekend, which was the six-week mark. I am trying a plain brown color today, and if I miss the burgundy tones, I will be buying color 462 again.

I don't know about you, but almost EVERY COLOR OF EVERY BRAND of hair color I have ever used in light to medium brown, EXCEPT THIS ONE, leaves a REDDISH tint in my hair, which I DETEST!!!!. This Cool Tea BY Garnier is the ONLY brand and color I have ever found that truly does NOT leave that horrible red tint in my hair after coloring. It is the only color I will use now, and I pray they never stop making it, 5.1. Even my hair dresser commented on how my hair didn't have that reddish tint to it anymore, because EVEN SHE has the same problem as I did. The color and quality is great, and if you hate red in your hair, and prefer more blonde highlights, this is for you. Even hair dressers in the past when I had my hair colored at the salon could almost never get the red cast out of my hair, and even by using a double ash blonde, it would leave for a short time, but as soon as I washed it a couple of times, the red came back. This hair color does NOT do that - THANKFULLY!!! i would give it 10 stars if I could.

Was feeling so old with my blah gray hair. Ordered this garnier hair color in berry. Wow, blast from the past! Really cheered me up! If only a box contained something that revived ny aging body so I could dance all night...just like the 80s!

I wanted something a little different. The color is described as dark berry burgundy. Nope, it's just dark auburn, similar to any other brand. I was hoping for more purple/maroon hues or even just really red but it's not. My hair is medium brown and after using this product it is dark brown with red tint. It did cover my grays nicely. It also smells okay.

It’s simple to use I left on for 30 minutes, wanted to cover the grey. I was a blond wanted a change. I’ve washed it twice it does lighten up. 2 strangers women said they liked my hair color. No one ever tells me that. I like it also. 😊
