Sadly, our fridge had started to freeze things that were left in certain spots. This was a disaster for beautiful butter lettuce and home made jams to name just a couple. I wanted to adjust the fridge temperature setting but did not know how much to lower it until I put these thermometers on multiple shelves. Sure enough, 2 spots registered below freezing and while this might bode badly for the life of our only 5 year old LG fridge, at least now I know how much I can lower the digital temperature control without making it too warm. A quick, inexpensive fix.
